This is reality. Ron Paul has a majority of delegates in almost every state.

McCain has alot of delegate seats with nobody to actually fill them.

I can't wait for St. Paul...

We NEED to stop listening the old media. It doesn't matter about the truth any more - they don't distort things any more, they just report whatever they want and expect us to swallow it. They report these things so that we'll give up, but we have a way around them now, through the glorious leveller that is the internet. This is something we've never really had before, not on this kind of scale.

The old media is full of crap. THIS - this story from Washington state - this is what's real, this is what I'm going to trust. Republicans are turning out in record low numbers because they don't know about Ron Paul, that's why he's never reported on, it's why every mention of his name is prefixed with 'long shot' and followed up with the caveat 'he's not going to be president'.

Conservatives are crying out for this man, and together we'll bring his message direct to their doors. We're gonna win this thing.

Alright is it just me or do the numbers not add up? Down in the middle of this thread it says that Huck was complaining that the GOP called it for McCain and that McCain had 25% and Huck had 24% WHERE IS THE OTHER 51% ???????

With all of the talk in here about how RP won more delegates vs. straw poll results, this article unambiguously states that delegate counts are tracking fairly closely with the previously released numbers. So, somebody is very confused, or disinformation is being propagated, or almost certainly both.

Elections are a dirtier business than I had wanted to believe.

You can, as I do, drop an email to anyone with a connection to your Republican State Party. They have email addresses. Simple: Just write and say you will ONLY vote for Ron Paul and NO other candidate they might support. Believe me, this will get their attention -- and perhaps some "official" support of Ron Paul..

I went to my caucus Saturday, I'm 22 and got elected as a delegate. There were 5 for Paul, 4 for McCain, and 2 for Huckabee in my precinct. 2 delegates went to McCain, and 1 for Paul. There was no vote because there where only three people who got nominated. So I got in by default. But I think they new if they pushed it, that there would be more for Paul. But there was a retired couple there supporting Paul, which only proves everyone loves Ron Paul. But I have to say, once the others found out I was a Paul supporter and I started talking to them, I felt like they we're talking down to me, like "Oh, look a young kid, oh how cute, he thinks he knows what he is talking about." But really, with the faith I have in this revolution, I spook with confidence and with passion, and I ended up earning all their respect. Young people get out there and make your voice heard. We need to fix this country before we are our parents age, so we don't have to deal with the stuff they do, like the economy, job security, and FREEDOM!!!!!

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee's campaign has filed a complaint disputing the results of the GOP caucuses in Washington State, where the Republican Party last night declared Arizona Sen. John McCain the winner.

McCain won 25.5 percent of the vote, to Huckabee's 23.7 percent, according to a statement released by Washington officials, which also said only 87 percent of the precincts had been counted. Huckabee officials now argue that the former governor can close the margin if the rest of the votes are counted.

"It is very unfortunate that the Washington State Party Chairman, Luke Esser, chose to call the race for John McCain after only 87 percent of the vote was counted," Huckabee campaign chairman Ed Rollins said in a statement. According to CNN, the difference between Senator McCain and Governor Huckabee is a mere 242 votes, out of more than 12,000 votes counted -- with another 1500 or so votes, apparently, not counted. That is an outrage."

Esser did not immediately return an e-mail message seeking comment. However, following Huckabee's complaint, he said the Washington GOP would resume counting ballots and that the results would be the same. "I am confident it will hold up," he said.

The former Arkansas governor spent the day appearing in churches in Virginia, which holds its primary on Tuesday. At Thomas Baptist Church in Lynchburg, the congregation that was once run by the late Rev. Jerry Falwell, Huckabee was called a "dear friend" by Falwell's son Jonathan, who became pastor after his father's death last May. Huckabee spoke briefly and largely steered away from politics in front of a packed crowd of more than 6,000.

But in appearances on Sunday morning talk shows, Huckabee predicted a strong finish in Virginia, despite polls showing him far behind.

"I think we'll get a nice little bump out of what happened in Kansas," Huckabee said on CBS's "Face the Nation."

AND CONGRATULATIONS!!! It's amazing to me to see the movement come this far - I've never had this much hope about the future of our country, and hey, maybe it is a long shot, but sooner or later the mainstream media and the world will see just how serious we are!

I'll admit, I was tempted to throw in the towel, but every last one of you folks out there working your asses off in Washington have inspired me to get out and help win Mississippi!

Some people go their entire lives wondering if they've made a difference. The Ron Paul supporters in Washington will never have that problem!

I worked a Ron Paul booth at one of the caucus locations. My Wife and I were the only ones representing any candidate on the Republican side. We set our booth up right next to the YO-Mama and Hitlery tables. Let me tell you,
those camps had very little organization what so ever. They even came over to our booth multiple times to compliment us. We had very a good presence and even swayed a few people on their way in. A lot of Dems came out of their side and over to our booth. By the end of the day we had
sent at least five new Ron Paul supporters in to caucus, gave out most of the Ron Paul info we had brought, and had partaken in some good old debates with the other camps.

Now the bad news. We had identified every supporter in every precinct for our location and a handful didn't show. In our precinct, McStain won the Straw Poll by TWO votes.

Now the good news. We won our county by a landslide and as far as delegates go, we took approximately 80%.

Soak that in for a bit, get re-energized, and let's get this man elected!

At this point, it doesn't matter a twit what is going on in the Media, nor whether Dr. Paul has won or lost in the states that are being corrupted by the electronic voting machines, especially like the ones in CA and Louisiana. Anything can happen if McHuckabee enter WITH Ron Paul into a brokered convention....anything.

I can't go into the details, but there could be some historic things flying around and happening at the National Convention. Do I think even more crooked deeds could happen there? YES. Do I think even more unpredictable things could happen that the COMPLACENT GOP would not think could maybe happen? YES.

IF Huckabee throws this into a brokered convention, all bets are OFF. So, we will just have to wait here patiently, and quietly keep spreading the word of TRUTH about our government and what's REALLY going on, and keep challenging all your friends and proving to them what is happening, through video clips, articles, etc. etc.

KEEP UP HOPE....and as Hans Solo said while traveling through an asteroid field..."Don't tell me the odds!!" Whenever.....ANYONE....says Dr. Paul is "unelectable"....TELL THEM THAT! People love movies & heroes, and they love that spirit when you turn away from them, looking straight ahead, right past them and say......."Don't tell me the odds!"

We were told by the 34th district chairman that the preference on the 'registration form and list of participants at precinct caucus' in the precinct packets we got was where the media would get its numbers. I don't recall putting a preference down on the sign in sheet as I was trying to fly under the radar until I got a sense of the room.
