I'm sick of all the congressmen we send up there passing to much legislation. They can't write a good piece of legislation anyway. They also can't tell when a good one comes along either. Actually the congress use to be a part time job they only met for a quarter of the year. The position wasn't ment to run through 1000 pieces of legislation in a year. Amendments are suppose to take a long time to pass. Your amendments are not suppose to change the core document they are only suppose to be added onto the document to give greater clearity or to update the original intent into a more modern world. They are not meant to erase the original document it is to be unchanged unless done by the people. All your post does is reinforces my belief in Ron Paul and my complete misstrust of the intentions of the other people up there. By you posting that it shows me when the vote is 500 to 1 I know 500 people are lying, cheating, and stealing. and only one man has the grit to stand up for what is right. Thank you for reinforcing my belief in Ron Paul.

PS this is going to get better we have more Ron Pauls on the way give us 6 more years you might have a congress full of them. Then we will see how much garbage gets taken to the trash. We are just getting started pal.

And he is leaving us with the responsability of getting his message out for his Presidential campaign. Do you realize that he has that much faith in everyone here to do the work while he is gone. Let him take care of his responsabilities to his state. Everyone who is in a state that has already voted and elected your delegates start getting yourself caught back up on your finances if your tapped. If your not donate to his congeressional race. Keep throwing in small amounts to 2008 when you can. Everyone that has raped up your state voting and electing delegates take a break for a week if you need it. Everyone needs to get a grip. If your state still has an election coming up walk your district give people a choice make phone calles. If your going into caucus bring as many people as you can with you to help elect a delegate or to become a delegate. This is our counrty guys we can't leave it all for one man to do it all for us. If you want someone to take care of you and control your life I say this: Move east progressive it will help the gene pool of both our nations.

Whoa! What a year this has been. And what achievements we have had. If I may quote Trotsky, of all people, this Revolution is permanent. It will not end at the Republican convention. It will not end in November. It will not end until we have won the great battle on which we have embarked. Not because of me, but because of you. Millions of Americans — and friends in many other countries — have dedicated themselves to the principles of liberty: to free enterprise, limited government, sound money, no income tax, and peace. We will not falter so long as there is one restriction on our persons, our property, our civil liberties. How much I owe you. I can never possibly repay your generous donations, hard work, whole-hearted dedication and love of freedom. How blessed I am to be associated with you. Carol, of course, sends her love as well.

Let me tell you my thoughts. With Romney gone, the chances of a brokered convention are nearly zero. But that does not affect my determination to fight on, in every caucus and primary remaining, and at the convention for our ideas, with just as many delegates as I can get. But with so many primaries and caucuses now over, we do not now need so big a national campaign staff, and so I am making it leaner and tighter. Of course, I am committed to fighting for our ideas within the Republican party, so there will be no third party run. I do not denigrate third parties — just the opposite, and I have long worked to remove the ballot-access restrictions on them. But I am a Republican, and I will remain a Republican.

I also have another priority. I have constituents in my home district that I must serve. I cannot and will not let them down. And I have another battle I must face here as well. If I were to lose the primary for my congressional seat, all our opponents would react with glee, and pretend it was a rejection of our ideas. I cannot and will not let that happen.

In the presidential race and the congressional race, I need your support, as always. And I have plans to continue fighting for our ideas in politics and education that I will share with you when I can, for I will need you at my side. In the meantime, onward and upward! The neocons, the warmongers, the socialists, the advocates of inflation will be hearing much from you and me.

If anything, this was a critical problem in the Ron Paul campaign - too many people adding irrational non-Libertarian voices to the mix.

The Daily Paul needs a big flashing red disclaimer on top:

The people on here waving the white flag need to get a grip. Regardless of what happens with this election we have started something that must continue. Ron Paul is still in the race and I'm pulling for him hard in KS tomorrow.

I can't wait to smack down some McCain punks tomorrow at the caucus with my RP attack! Ron Paul is a great man but this message is more than Ron Paul. This message strikes a chord with all Americans whether they have realized it yet or not.

People that are droping out of the RP Revolution after this latest email have really missed the whole message. I don't know that it was ever about winning. And if that is the case then I am fine with it. From where I stand I have alread won.

Those are all actions taken by Dr. Paul representing his district in Texas, and I believe he actually strives to represent to Washington the desires of his constituents.

Thus, he reflects very well upon them, even honors them. I wish he represented my district.

But he doesnt.

We supported him in his bid for President, and he gave us his very best effort - as per his norm. I respect his decision at this point, given the evidence of the Primary turnout thus far, to now rest and focus on his job as Congressman again.

We put him in charge. It was his campaign. It's his call.

He quit us before we quit him.
