Hey everyone, how are you?
Good.
Now, whatever your take is on the Ron Paul campaign, there is one blazing idea that has always run through it and continues up to this day. That idea is that despite whatever was/is to become of the campaign, Ron Paul lit a fire and it is our duty to keep that fire alive.
As you all know, the chances of Ron Paul doing very well as far as capturing the Republican Nomination is pretty slim, maybe none. It would take a miracle to make it happen.
DID YOU THINK ANYTHING DIFFERENT WOULD HAPPEN!?!?!?
I mean, think about it! For the first time since it's inception, a viable political figure runs for president on an anti-Fed. Reserve ticket!!! Never has the Fed had such resistance, and you think that they were going to let it happen?
Add to that the simple fact that most of us who joined this thing were highly inexperienced politically, meaning, we didn't know all the proper ways to actually WIN an election! It's not necessarily a bad thing, it's not our fault, it's just the reality of the situation.
There ARE a lot of good folks with long political experience who helped all of us neophytes in this, and I know here in Illinois I learned a crapload, but at the end of the day it wasn't enough.
That is fine. For every failure is an opportunity for growth, learning, and future success. Had we all the experience of atleast one other political campaign to work with I think the overall results would have been dramatically better, but enough to take on the System. . .???
Let's be realistic, folks, the fight has just begun really in the last year. We have shown the country that we are here and we can get things done. I do know that Ron Paul will continue to be a leader and figurehead for all of us, but now just as always, it is imperative that we take the helm on our own and make sure we are still doing what we can for Freedom.
With that I suggest you start a Freedom Network for your entire state.

You will see what I've put together as a quick start. The big idea is to make sure the meetups still keep going and stay active, our numbers continue to grow, our members become more educated on political process, and we not only support and introduce Freedom issues in our community, but we introduce and support "Ron Paul Republicans" as well!!!
With this highly decentralized campaign, we have still managed to break fundraising records across the board, make a virtually unknown congressman a cultural phenomena, and begun the process of bringing these important issues out into the public's view. We can keep doing that. We must keep doing that.
KEEP THE PRESSURE ON.
I also suggest you all get involved with the Restore The Republic group which is the network started by the late Aaron Russo. We're behind this revolution and in fact, Russo was one of the big persuaders to get Ron Paul to run for office!!!
So for all you who are feeling down about this campaign, think realistically! We're doing more for freedom than anyone since the original Revolution, but this time it's totally different! We're not anything like our forefathers, and that is how it should be! The stronger we get, the more "they" have to push back their plans and re-strategize their efforts.
Just imagine: We have the power to stop the REAL ID. Avoid the North American Union. Bring the issue of sound currency to the forefront of economic discourse. Alert citizens to the unjust, possibly unlawful income tax. And support those running for office who uphold these ideals as well as the Constitution!!!
We can do all that and more. Individually, as a collective, of individuals.
We will have Freedom one way or another. There is no other goal worth fighting for.

This is a great idea. I suggested something like this a day or two ago but it got buried. This is on a larger scale than I imagined, though.
50 individual state
50 individual state websites. All meetup groups remain active. Local coalitions will form introducing freedom isues at the local and state level, also a key way to increase ranks. State webpages to be used as resource and informational hubs for the state. Kind of like a "hey, we did this and it worked" kind of thing.
Very, very easy and possible. Very big and unstoppable.

In NH the RP Meetup groups will become RP freedom networks or liberty groups. They will NOT drop their contacts.
They will be interconnected with other pro-freedom groups such as the GOP, taxpayers groups, and other non-partisan (but not liberal) freedom groups and caucuses such as the NH chapter of the RLC which Ron founded..
Note: The liberals are in full force at our LOCAL town meetings trying to institute global taxes, get people to reject the anti-tax pledge that candidates take so they can put an income tax into NH, and even institute UN schools that denounce constitutional government in favor of their own supra-national government. Their motto is truly 'think globally act locally'. This is now what we must do. ACT LOCALLY.

NV Liberty Comittee
Since our caucuses were over, we had this discussion last Tuesday at a meetup in LV. We have something similar to RP's liberty committee. Website is temporarily http://www.ardenguy.com/.
Even though the groundwork and fervor was technically 'over' here in NV, we had SEVENTY + people show up.

Heh.. I just bought the domain name about an hour ago.. so I haven't had much time to actually build anything on that site yet - though the sister-site at eTeli.com (Revoulution Television) has been up for about a month now.
Need to wrap my brain around how to interconnect everything that is already 'out there' into this one. Should be an interesting project.
Start at the precinct and Congtressional District levels
We'll need a state-wide network, but the key is to focus on each precinct first. That's why it is imperative that everyone sign up to be a precinct leader, even if your state's primary is over.
We need to create these Freedom networks locally, then link them together within our Congressional districts, then at the state level and eventually nationally.
But the grunt work must be done locally if this is ever going to succeed.

I have felt this all along, regardless of what happens with Ron Paul we need to continue. It was never about the man (RP) it has always been about US, the people. Many are awakening to the truth. If our country goes into total collapse it is because we the people did nothing. So some of us need to quit the negativity (RP let us down, we need third party run, what about the money we donated, etc.) needs to stop. We (including RP) were and are doing what we believe in and that is the CONSTITUTION!!!! Power enmasse.
Let's rock and roll.
Whatever we do
We need to do it TOGETHER. We have two strengths: 1) The truth and 2) Our numbers.
If we decide to write Paul in the ballot in November, we need to ALL do it. If we throw our support to a third party, we need to ALL do it. If we set up a freedom network, we need to ALL do it. I've learned that many people have been fighting this fight for years. With all the new recruits for this message, we must remain organized.

How can people say NH is ready when, despite all the "independent" voters and being chosen as the free state, you did WORSE than even my home state of Iowa in votes for Ron Paul. Choosing NH for the free state was dumb.
