Front lines: Washington caucus report.

I'm happy to report that through some decent debate, Paul has won my caucus. 2 delegates are going to Paul and most of the room was anti-McCain. Most people felt McCain was not conservative and sadly can not beat either Democrat candidates. I agree..

To those that sill have upcoming fights, be patient, be open, tell people what you think, and don't turn anyone off. Go over the issues find where people stand and then appeal to those issues.

Edit: Actually its more like 3 delegates. One was undecided between Huckabee and Paul but is leaning Paul. I spoke with someone in another part of the state and he told me their were Paul people everywhere and that Paul won his as well. Cross your fingers, Washington looks really good from the front lines..

Edit2: Another thread is reporting Paul wining in WA state. His results are just for the City of Spokane and not Seattle. Official reports are here. http://www.wsrp.org/News/...

Amazing posts here

very nice work

I got to count all of the ballots for district 43! Rode in the car with the person who had custody of the ballots to their office and another Paul supporter and I were there the whole time. Mike was actually entering the data into the spreadsheet while I watched one of their people open the envelopes. They were extremely fair and careful and even a couple of times caught a something that I nearly missed that ensured an extra Paul vote. I also caught a couple of near-misses that wound up being McCain votes, so we’re even.

It was so amazing – I can’t tell you how amazing – to sign in every Paul supporter who was in line at my caucus and see everyone’s faces, and then one by one recognize everyone’s name on the sign-in sheets, and then see them win their delegate slots, and hear Paul’s name called out by these McCain supporting GOP guys in their own office. I almost choked up a couple of times!

You guys did an amazing job! Also the Paul people did a much better job of filling in the forms completely – if they decide to throw out all the forms that don’t have a signature at the bottom, we’ll be in even better shape.

District 43 PROVISIONAL results (not including two other small caucus locations, and these are NOT final results, subject to checking voter registrations and whether the forms were filled out correctly and such):

Huckabee 17 delegates

McCain 48 delegates

Paul 62 delegates

Romney 7 delegates

Uncommited 11 delegates

Thank you.

Thank you.

Amazing !

Thanks for your hard work !

THANK YOU WASHINGTON!!!

Thank you guys so much! It's sounding like you all did GREAT!

How long are they going to make us wait for the GOP results.

Waiting games are never good.

From what I hear the

From what I hear the Republicans got about 3 1/2 times the number of people in some areas.. I was at GOP headquarters for a short time and things were pretty chaotic down there.. not sure whats going on but no need to panic yet.

I trust the guys in WA, they even had a RP sign (an all the other candidates) down at the GOP.

Yea I'll believe it when I see it.

Probably stacking votes right now before they send em in for tally. I bet just like every other crooked state they weren't happy with the results so they are making sure they will be.

This is the home state of

This is the home state of blackboxvoting.org and Bev Harris, we will get them if something happens..

Understanding Washington

In Washington state, the dems caucus is 100% of the results. But reps have both caucus (today) for 49% of the overall results, and a primary on Feb 19th for 51% of the overall results.

When people talk of delegates today, those are usually local level. Delegates from today to to the district caucus later. Then after that the state level caucus.

Something like that.

Here is

CNN's link to see the Washington vote when they start showing them...I don't like MSM, but its hard to find info like what we want somewhere else...

and here is Lousianna

The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny. James Madison

Results should start coming

Results should start coming in soon.. Dem's have theirs.

Good god.. Obama is leading Hillary 2-to-1 http://www.politico.com

Not sure exactly, WA was

Not sure exactly, WA was never much of a press target before so the party is somewhat rough on that, however they did request the results in extra early to get to the press.

Ah well, I can answer my own

Ah well, I can answer my own question:

I forgot its a few hours behind, so thought results should be out now, but there is another hour to go.

Not sure.. the Party got

Not sure.. the Party got hammered in some areas.. 700 people showed up in areas that usually get about 200.

Hopefully Washington is a win for Ron Paul and hopefully the media does give it the proper attention it deserves.

How fitting!

Sounds like Washington just may help turn this thing around. We'll wait and see. Ron Paul is both George Washington and Washington, D.C. ....how fitting. You go Washington!

That's the state where that video of the mistreated anti-war people was shot. Yep, people that don't want war are finally starting to get it.......and his name is Ron Paul.

And coincidently, if he does win Washington, it's another state that has a caucus and no rigged machines. Is anyone still questioning the extreme vote fraud that has been going on? And yes, I know it takes more dedicated people, like RP supporters, to caucus, but 3 and 5%......no fricking way.

Same thing i'm seeing. Alot

Same thing i'm seeing. Alot more support for Huck and Paul in my neck of the woods(Washington State). A lot at the caucus saying NO WAY for McCain.

2 more delegates

My wife and I both became delegates in our precinct in Kennewick today. Other precincts at our caucus also had Paul delegates. Although I can't give totals, I can say that there was very little support for McCain

Add 2 more!!

My husband and I just became
delegates,it was easy.Nobody likes Mcaine.

my precinct in Spokane

at least 4 of the 5 delegates from my precinct are Ron Paul supporters! The 5th one says he's for RP, but he also said good things about Huckabee -- and I'm one of the 5 delegates!

The PCO for my precinct had 1 person 'pre-selected' even though he wasn't there and was going to have us only vote for 4 of 5 delegates 'til I opened my mouth, and now that person is an alternate instead (maybe -- he wasn't formally put into nomination even!). But overall, great results and more people who were RP supporters in attendance than I expected!

When will the Washington results come in?

I think all Paul needs to do is win one state, as soon as he does he'll gain instant attention.

The GOP will start

The GOP will start tabulating at 5 then they will give it to the press.

More Front Lines

In my precinct it was pretty lax. There was no debate, pretty much everyone who wanted to be a delegate was chosen, we didn't even go to vote. And surprisingly it was pretty pro McCain. For our four slots, one for RP (me) and 3 for McCain.

WOW!

That's great news!! THANK YOU!!

Way to go!

These ideas can win.
