Just heard on CNN, because no candidate has won 50% of the vote in Louisiana, ALL delegates will be unbound and free to vote for anybody at the convention!

15 district delegates per 7 districts were elected on Jan 22nd.
At the state caucus (feb 16th), each district (15 votes) will elect 3 national delegates per district equaling 21 total. Another 20 delegates will be awarded in a combined vote at the State caucus since no one received 50% of the Preference Primary.
Several districts are a hodge podge of people. Some Thompson supporters who converted to McCain, some McCain, Some Paul supporters and some who are truly uncommitted. basically, Paul may get several delegates. I think they were accurate to say he'd get three... but at this rate, who knows.
Many of these district delegates are loyalist but some are truly independent. I think the important thing is "which" national delegates are elected. Remember, none of these 41 delegates are bound... at all. They can be bought or sold in a brokered convention at the very beginning. Trust me, they will use it to their advantage... for the benefit of the state, of course.
Former Gov. Buddy Romer and Co seem to be heavy McCain, from what I gather, so that may works against us. From what i've heard, several district "Uncommitted" folks are repeatedly encouraged to support McCain. At the District Caucus, McCain's people were saying he has promised the LAGOP Levee protection funding. Regarding Paul, the only complaint they would reference was his WAR stance. I don't know if that was B.S. There was so much flying around.
