Numbers

A brain dead conservative number, after looking at primary results, would that the good Dr. can count on at least ten per cent of the population of the US as being intelligent enough to understand his message. If you are here to gloat find another forum. The movement will continue no matter what.

about half of the States voted

so I think the vote count is up to a million already but the other states left are a bit different then the ones that have voted. I would guess around 4 million nation wide who participate in the nomination process. I think in a general election the numbers would be at least twice that with much more people voting.

To paraphrase ZZ Top, we're nationwide

A friend of mine drives (weekly) from North Carolina (a truck) to spots up and down the west coast from Seattle to San Diego. In the process, he has the chance to see pretty much the whole country. He tells me he sees HUNDREDS of Ron Paul signs from Coast to Coast (and hardly ever sees a sign for any of the other guys). That oughta tell us a lot.

The fact that RP gets 2-4 times as many donations as the other guys (most in relatively small amounts from individuals) oughta tell us a lot.

With just NORMAL COVERAGE from the mainstream, this movement would be a MANDATE. It's 7-figures without it...

He's gotten at least half a million votes in these

primaries and caucuses so far. I think there are more than that because there is probably at least that many in the states that haven't yet had primaries. Plus more become aware each day. So, even in the states where the primaries are finished, there are likely more than those who voted. I am discovering that RP supporters are EVERY where!!

guessing

500,000 at its peak, now 250,000

lol, you be funny

I can't see a significant number of people going from Ron Paul to any other candidate. Just not gonna happen.

Once a person is a Ron Paul supporter, all the other candidates just won't do it for them.

Maybe that will change someday when a number of candidates support freedom, small government, sound money, and a humble foreign policy. And have a 20 year record of supporting such things. Until then, I don't think Ron Paul will be losing too many supporters.
