Challenge Obama to a debate
What do you guys think about publicly challenging Barack to a one-on-one debate? Could say that Barack seems to be the 'inevitable' democratic nominee and that the people need to see the difference between then two platforms. If he's taken up on it, great. Hit him with logic and genuine intelligent policies. If not, people will say, "Is he chicken?"
Ron Paul would have to polish up on his delivery (using more positive outcomes and rallying type of phrases) but in the end he could easily tear Obama's platform apart.
This would bring attention either way and at the same time, negate the validity of the rest of the candidates on both sides.

not going to happen
He has a very real answer for declining. He is fighting for the democratic nomination versus Clinton. No one will blame him for not doing it.
RP gave you the campaign
RP gave you the campaign - you are running it for him, you should be able to inform him that you need him to challenge Obama. :)
Someone had a post earlier (yesterday) about having a dailypaul.com-person with direct contact to HQ - did you ever get one? do you have one?
I WISH!
Obama would never accept, though... and the media would NEVER pick it up as a story.
Yes, Dr. Paul would shred Obama, but that's exactly why Obama will never accept. What would he gain from it?
Now Is A Good Time To Challenge Obama But Not To A Debate
Screw McCain, Obama is getting the Anti-Iraq-war vote without being Anti-Iraq-War. Ron Paul is the only True Anti-Iraq-War Candidate. Challenging Obama is the smartest thing the RP Campaign could be doing in my humble opinion.
Please call or email Campaign HQ and tell them to issue a press release challenging Obama's Anti-war stance. This is the boost we need right now!
Great Idea....
But who would AIR it? Remember RP in in an MSM blackout.
I like the idea of Beck, but would Obama even talk to him? Larry King may only be interviewing the "frontrunning" CFR candidates...dunno, but would not be surprised.
Say YES to Dr. NO
Beck is still crying over
Beck is still crying over Romney's "suspension", but I suppose it would be a possibility.
Noone dares to debate RP,
Noone dares to debate RP, and the media wouldn't cover it because they A) want americans to forget RP and B) Don't have the guts
I don't think they'd have a choice...
if RP publicly challenged him in some Larry King or Glen Beck type of interview. It would be really nice if Barack just happened to be coming on the show right after the RP part. If Ron's challenge is public, Barack's reply has to be aired. If he airs an acceptance, the debate would need to be shown.
Could someone with a direct
Could someone with a direct line to RP, ask him if it would be in his interrest to challenge Obama or any other candidate for that matter?
I see several advatages for the RP campaign:
A) If he challenged Obama, then Hitlery would prolly be happy and let the media air it. It would benefit her campaign if RP chew through Obama and she is in need of success atm.
B) RP would get air time
C) If Obama rejects it, people will question him
Hungry!
So true, Obama would be afraid to debate Ron Paul, so far the only one he has debated in Hillary, and they are basically debating what color to paint the Presidential suite. Nothing of real substance, soft punches. It would be nice to see a real debate, that goes for Republicans as well, need something that feeds the people and makes them think. Meat and potatoes, not the junk food we're getting.
Love to see it!!!
Great idea, a debate between the only two candidates talking about getting out of Iraq. However we know that only one is telling the truth.
grant
Obama wouldnt do it
What would he get out of it?? He would look like a fool.
If the challenge got any msm
If the challenge got any msm coverage, then Osama's refusal would make him look like a wus.
