I am dumb founded by the amount of people that have fallen off the revolution wagon or willingly jumped, lacking fortitude. “It was too hard”. Today, today I know were I stand more than ever. I have read the constitution and I am empowered by it.
What credit would I be if I backed down now? How could I, knowing of the previous sacrifices, go into a hole because my small efforts weren’t brought into immediate fruition? Please understand that this is not a fad, it is substantial, rare in fact. Few people get the opportunity, even fewer are able, to recognize that this is the moment; this is where the lines are drawn and this is what I am going to do about it. It is not the first battle for Americans, hell we were birthed in it, but the fight has always been the same. To uphold and defend the value of human beings, the preservation of our freedom, our rights to think/believe as we wish, and not have the beliefs of others imposed upon us. To live without fear, to not be regulated and spied upon, and to not be stolen from by anyone, including our own government, a government that should be controlled by us, not controlling us.
Daily, I hear people talk about how corrupted things are, how politicians are scum, that he/she is being taxed to death, complaints from every corner, but, never are the people that spout these oblivious injustices willing to offer solutions. Now a man comes forward with a plan and the same people are not even willing to see. They are not willing to make effort. If change is to be made then action must been taken, our constitution must be reestablished!!
American is based on the very idea that her citizens are to be free! The American government’s most important function is to protect that treasure, all other responsibilities pale in comparison. Our forefathers had seen tyranny first-hand and in order to prevent it they created a doctrine; an outline that, if followed, would ensure the value of the individual, guard against tyranny and retain the power of her citizens. Unfortunately, that power has slowly been hi-jacked by politicians and bankers while we were distracted by Ipods and reality TV shows or pitted against political parties. It was a mistake for us to have looked the other way, a mistake to have not been paying attention, to let others lay claim on the very thing that makes us America. We have stood idle while the efforts of our dead soldiers past and present have become inconsequential, their deeds and their deaths frivolous and for that we as a nation must make amends. Today Americans must fight to take back our country, we must refuse to be bullied into submission with fear! Those who have stolen, those who have lied, those who have disregarded our constitution and sacrificed America’s children must be held accountable. We are greater than FAUX news! We are more powerful than any bank! We hold an idea, an idea that cannot be silenced and because the idea lies within the hearts of the American people it is a force like no other. Its’ might will quake out and cause a reckoning, it will rise and justice will be restored. So for those of you who have fallen, get your asses back on that wagon, and to all of you, today, and every day, you fight is the most important day! Today is the day you make amends. Ron Paul supporters must take each step with the same zeal as the last, for, united we stand and together we will win!

I have never said we should quit in fact i have tried to encourage all to keep fighting and become delegates and alternates and get involved in the system at their local levels.
This is far from over and nothing is decided untill September.

This was so timely
I've been more determined than ever since I first responded to this post. Encouraged me to see my own words, almost seems that was another person. but yep it was me... thing about a r-evolution... it continually evolves. I could write a book on how I've changed in a short time Rock on fellow Ron Paul Republicans!!

I was working feverishly and now I
am slower. I think I was making myself sick, still contributing but now making preparations in my life in case things go down hill. Some of those who thought I was Ron Paul crazy are starting to ask questions. There is a calmness in me now, resigned to work for Ron Paul AND get my house in order. We have been awaken there is no going back to sleep, now we watch and wait.

We just had to have a disclaimer at the bottom with the individual who paid for the ad. If it is an organization or group of people, then it gets a bit more complicated (for our state, anyway).

It happens every time there is a money bomb and people get scared, of course donations are going to drop, we are donating to another front in the Congressional race. We are spending our money on signs and other projects. We haven't given up, we are just reloading.
