As an opportunist i'd like to say that our movement needs to start thinking past the election and develop a opposition party platform. The Republican Party as a movement has not embraced Ron Paul. His support comes from people who have recently joined the Republican Party. An election, even a Presidential election, while it qualifies as a big event, political parties do not operate like big tent circuses. The Republican Party supports George Bush! Not because its a popular election slogan, we all know the Republican Party's going to lose big time for some years to come because of the poor leadership taken by the neo-con conservatives. This election has revealed a huge political balloon. When the Democrats win a lot of folk shall make a run on the bank - only in this case the bank shall be the Republican Party. When stocks crash in the Party - THEN ITS TIME TO BUY BUY BUY!

RESTORATION OF CONSTITUTIONAL RULE OF LAW
ABOLISHION OF "SLAVERY".
1. ABOLISHION OF THE CENTRAL BANK/FEDERAL RESERVE.
2. ABOLISHION OF THE 16TH IRS AMENDMENT.
3. ENFORCEMENT OF EXECUTIVE ODER 11110 INTEREST FREE
UNITED STATES NOTES AS NATIONAL CURRENCY.

Its all in the presentation. If Ron Paul is a Libertarian then we support a man in the WRONG party. Republican Identity does not relate with Libertarian identity. But Republicans as an abolishist party ... that's another matter all together different. Jefferson wrote the Constitution, as a founding father his a good man for our party to turn to in matters of states rights. The role of the Federal Government in its relationship to the States should be subservient in almost all matters of bureaucratic regulation of business and the environment.
An Abolishonist Platform requires a protracted conflict with no termination date. State independence to regulate its internal affairs, upon this premise the Republican Party can represent the needs of the American people.
Ron got a lot of mileage out of that little e-mail.

1.) He let people know he's still in the race, which says alot by itself.
2.) He put to rest the idea of a 3rd party run, which I loved, because the conservative base is starting to shift his way.
I actually heard Rush Limbaugh give Ron some love today. Nothing major, but he did imply that he is more conservative than John McCAIN.
Somebody I know who doesn't even follow politics asked me today, "Did Ron Paul drop out of the race?"
I responded, "no, he just said he's not running 3rd party, he's still in it."
Devil's Advocate is ok - I don't like where he stands now with his 3rd party stance, but he worked hard for Dr. Paul. I remember him pushing getting e-mails out to every book store in the U.S. He got me and others to cover all the states......
