HAVING PROBLEMS VIEWING THE SITE? GET FIREFOX! | A NOTE ON ADVERTISING

Out of office notice. Friends, I'm going to be away from the site Friday, Saturday & Sunday. I won't have email access, either. I have a friend looking after the site just in case things get too crazy! But for the time being, you're in charge! -- Michael Nystrom. Please buy a poster and support the site!

This is unacceptable. We will support him.

Our inability to agree on fundraising efforts for the campaign is seriously hurting Dr. Paul. Money bombs with perfectly logical dates and timing are being dismissed and buried. There is no legitimate reason to refuse supporting a money bomb (as long as we have the time to get the word out, meaning two weeks, preferably more). I hear complaints on Ron not spending enough where he should. He needs more money! It would be foolish to spend all $6 million in one or two places when we have many months left until November. Some may say, "Oh, well, he'll raise more between now and then." Not much more at the rate he's going! I know we all would like to believe that a constant stream of money is the best bet, but it has now proven ineffective. Money bombs MUST be accepted as the life blood of this campaign, because they have already proven themselves. Now that the debate over Ron Paul's commitment to the Presidential race is resolved (anyone still doubting can read the statement on The Daily Dose at RonPaul2008.com), the next money bomb must be front and center in our discussion. For immediate funds to the campaign, I am recommending support for the President's Day Money Bomb. I know this is less than two weeks away, but the campaign needs a boost ASAP. During preparation for this, I highly recommend spreading the word about the Constitution Day Money Bomb (March 4th). This has plenty of time still to become huge. I have nothing but the utmost respect for the grassroots. As such I am requesting anyone who no longer supports these efforts of fundraising by the supporters to please not participate in the discussion of them, either. In addition, those who have withdrawn from support of the campaign completely have no business contributing to this site any longer. It is a waste of your time and ours. Congratulations, Dr. Paul, your supporters have spoken and are planning two money bombs for you in the coming weeks! LONG LIVE THE REVOLUTION!

He can't announce

that it was an inside job. People would think he was crazy. That would be as bad as Dennis Kucinich saying he communicates with aliens. To even think now would be the time to bring that up is proposterous. People are already being fed about how radical and crazy Ron Paul is, he has to fly in under the radar. He knows what he is doing. Go Ron Go!!!!

.

.

i agree

however I think two money bombs have not always went well. When there is a primary one this is when we get the moola.. And when there are youtubes about it .. I believe the money bombs should be posted at the top of daily paul these are more important then ron paul radio etc... IF we want it to be huge then it must go @@VIRAL @@ and stay Viral or it will go away like most important posts here.

See far below for positive commentary.

And please honor the requests of my post.

What a bunch of BS

lol, you guys be funny.

The reason donations have dropped is that donations are not enough for Ron Paul to win. He could have raised $100 million dollars and would still be struggling to win the nomination.

The sheeple make their decision based on what Wolf Blitzer and Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly say. $20 million in advertising is just a drop in the bucket compared to the bombardment of crap spewed by Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter.

As long as the media blackout continues, money raised for the campaign doesn't really matter that much. Some folks have realized this and stopped donating.

I don't want to be a negative nellie here. Ron Paul can still win the nomination. But it is not dependent on how much money he raises. It depends on how many people go door to door to educate voters. And it depends on how many people become delegates. It depends on how many sheeple see the light and how soon it happens.

OTOH, bucks raised for a congressional race goes a long way. No congressional candidates get free airtime, it is all bought and paid for (for the most part). So advertising for a congressional seat pays big dividends, not so much in a presidential race (unless Rupert Murdoch likes you). Look at how Huckabee and McCain did when they were nearly broke. They lived on free advertising (disguised as "news") compliments of CNN and Faux.

So a drop in donations does not equal a drop in support. It just shows that people realize that if Dr. Paul is gonna win, he has to get precinct captains and delegates, not more advertising. Because advertising is just a barely decipherable momentary whisper compared the 24/7 barrage of screaming by the media "journalists".

And you shouldn't worry about Ron Paul losing supporters because donations have dropped. Once a voter sees the light, he will never be able to close his eyes again. Once a Ron Paul supporter, always a Ron Paul supporter.

Think of it this way. The money and donations were needed in the beginning to get his message out to us. Now, it is up to us to educate our friends, family, and neighbors to finish the job.

second that

I second this view of reality. It doesnt hurt to acknowledge the truth. As long as we live with a false sense of reality we will never solve our problems.

I disagree with you John Doe

Could you run for president with little or no money?

This campaign didn't really get started until nov 5.
Yes, once he had money, and it has been on the up and up since.
I do agree however that it is not only money that helps us.
Everything helps and campaign cash is certainly one of the things that help, but not the only thing.

So, if you don't want to contribute, fine, but don't try and take away our momentum.

Please stop bashing the fundraising!

Please remove your post.

If you want to post this message under a different forum topic, be my guest. I am sick of attempts to dissuade support for fundraising efforts. Additionally, I asked that anyone who does not support money bombs to please NOT POST under this discussion! If you don't like it, then go participate in another discussion!

I give up

Please flag my post as offensive and let the moderator delete it. I can't seem to delete or edit it. Sorry.

well, more weirdness

The post I just put up asking how to remove a post has an "Edit" button. But there is still no "Edit" button for the previous offending post.

well, that is weird

How do I remove the post? I could have sworn I used to see a button for "Remove". And I'm sure I've seen a button for "Edit" since I have edited posts before because of misspellings, typos, etc. But I don't see those buttons on that post.

Strange.

Don't Be Discouraged.

The President's Day money bomb will not be huge (there just isn't enough time to build momentum). Contribute as much as you can, but understand that the results will not reflect another Tea Party. I suspect the Constitution Day money bomb will be quite larger (more time), and the Tax Day money bomb (recently mentioned in this thread) will be enormous! Tell everyone about the up-and-coming money bombs!

New Donors Outnumber Old Ever Since MTV

There are plenty of new donors out there, and the campaign will get money as soon as they send out the next fundraising letter. I think they had to fund the congressional campaign, first. At any rate, they don't want to confuse people.

The 4th Quarter is typically the slowest. Look what we bought ourselves for Christmas! The best quarter, yet. Give us a rest to pay our bills and we'll be back. February has 5 Fridays, BTW; for some, an extra paycheck.

All the priorities are in order. It's seven months until the Convention, and we have the willing delegates and nationwide support network the GOP is going to be grateful for when they realize we're the only hope to win.

You haven't seen the latest figures

Look at the most recent Ron Paul Graphs:

http://www.ronpaulgraphs....

Down at the bottom, you can see the last few days.

Each of the last 3 days has been in the 10-worst days ever. Yesterday (Sunday) was our worst day ever. Today is on its way to be the new worst ever.

Yes, Because We're relying on New Donors

The old ones have already given or are giving to the congressional campaign, or working on their own projects.

I looked at the stats before I commented.

Saturday and Sunday are always the worst of the week. The regulars have been regrouping. It's only been a few days since super Tuesday.

IMissLiberty

All the more reason to donate!

Or ask a fellow supporter who is not maxed out to do so. Wouldn't you say so?

Stimulus Package

How about everyone donate their stimulus check? We could stimulate the campaign...thanks to King George and the Incontinent Congress!

Until the Election is Won!
Chaplain Steve
Ron Paul - Lion of the Constitution

I'm just guessing...

But perhaps one reason for lack of donations would be a lot of people lack funds to donate? That could be a big one, people being strapped for cash in a time they need it the most.

A vote for Ron Paul is a vote to save the world!

I want to donate, but

I am strapped for cash until Friday.

Paulinator

We are not running for 911 truth, we are running for president. If people no longer support him because he made the right choice in that debate by saying what he said, then they are not supporting Ron Paul for president, they are suporting 911 truth for president.

The truth is, the ceiling on the amount of support Ron Paul would have if he came out and said "I am running on a platform of 911 for truth" would be very low and he would be out of the race soon there after.

So many of the mainstream people who have yet to even hear of 911 truth would end their support for him. And so many who do not agree with 911 truth would no longer support him.

We are running for President!
Please pick which money bomb you support and promote it.
Thank you!

There's a third one...

There's a third money bomb in the offing, which will have plenty of time to gain momentum, if we all spread the word: TaxDay08.com ~ April 15th

It's more than a money bomb; it's a strike and a march.

That being said, I do heartily support all efforts toward the President's Day money bomb (http://www.presidentsdaym...) and the Constitution money bomb (http://constitutionmoneyb...)!!

Absolutely!

A fine idea!

we need both the 18th and

we need both the 18th and the 4th.

WE ALSO NEED DONATIONS NOW!!! HELP HIT $6 MILLION!

MArch 4th

Next money BOMB!

I can agree with you

Every time a money bomb suggeston pops up, many dissent for one reason or another. Big deal it will never be aboslutely perfect, but we need to choose a date and get it on! start promoting these two and see which one wins. The competition will great. And who can cry about having TWO money bombs?

Pick the one you like and promote it. We will see which does better

Presidents Day
or
Support the Consititution

Let's get it on!

This may be part of the reason....

I am a truth seeker and am still in this till the bitter end....I can't speak for the others though...

This is a letter from Jeff Rense...a long time supporter that has a website promoting RP that gets about 10 million hits a month....

Ron Paul's Goodbye
By Jeff Rense
2-9-8

The real issue now is that Ron Paul is effectively out of the race ....whether he directly came out and said it or not. In his statement of thanks to his supporters (see below), he also announced he's cutting his staff way back. The message is clear.

The last Ron Paul 'money bomb' showed a substantial loss of support momentum...which was/is largely the result of his complete public disassociation and denouncement of the entire 911 Truth Movement during that national 'debate' several weeks ago.

That was either a bald-faced, enormous, lie to try to keep himself politically 'alive' ... OR that is HIS truth.

Either way, it cost him a lot of support.

We know several Ron Paul backers who dropped him at that moment... and it was reflected in the failed, subsequent fundraising.

His poor showing (absolutely expected) in the primaries was the final truth his devoted supporters had to swallow: the system is totally owned and operated by the controllers. Period.

Many Paulites will now walk away from this obviously, hopelessly corrupt and manipulated political charade in America...and will never look back. Some will stay.

Ron announced."I am a Republican, and I will remain a Republican"and will not leave the party to run as an independent. (A Paul-Kucinich ticket would have at least been FUN).

WHAT Republican party?? That was a lamentable statement to read. Ron must be thinking it is still the Republican Party of the 19th century.

The Republican 'party' NOW stands for the BIG LIE, it stands for CRIME and DEATH, for GENOCIDE and PERVERSION, for TAXATION and GRAFT, for the FED and FINANCIAL RAPE, for DOMESTIC SPYING and the PATRIOT ACT, ...it stands for the end of LIBERTY and of our CONSTITUTION. Above all, it now stands for Zionism and WAR.

That statement alone probably ended about half of his remaining support. As we said many months ago, if he does NOT run as an independent, he will effectively put 'finis' to the majority of passion and commitment of the small, brave patriotic movement his message and vision created in this rat hole political paradigm. And if the controllers are as smart as we think, they may well have orchestrated much of the 'Ron Paul phenomena' to ultimately send the message, yet again, that 'resistance is futile!'

Ron said he needs to go home to Texas and work for his re-election to the House. That's a wise decision because the enemies of freedom and the Constitution, knowing all along he never had a chance in hell of gaining the nomination, will now try to unseat him...and they can do so if it be their will. Ask Cynthia McKinney.

So, even though he says he's 'still in the race' it is totally meaningless. Publicly, via his disassociation from 911 Truth, he is 'officially' standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Bush/Cheney and Zionism on 911.

He had a GREAT opportunity to bring 911 Truth forward during the campaign...and chose to hide it.

And, God forbid, if he really spoke HIS truth in the debate about the whole 911 issue, he is clearly, totally, disconnected from the biggest reality of our time: that 911 was an inside job.

Sad to see him give it up...but it was totally predictable and comes as no surprise. For his die-hard supporters and those who cherish America's nearly vanquished past magnificence, keep at it. Work at the local level...run for office... just know that the clock is ticking and the enemies of Freedom stand all around us and often in between us.

Of all the great American political leaders who sacrificed their lives for freedom, Ron chose, instead, to quote the zionist maniac killer Communist Trotsky about the 'revolution being permanent.' A strange choice. The statement could have been made without the need to acknowledge a Bolshevik madman.

In any case, the 'Ron Paul Revolution' is over... now just a footnote, an asterisk, in the grim record of these darkening times. Certainly, some will endeavor to carry on his themes...something the CIA/NSA supercomputer models knew and predicted long ago.

Ron Paul is a grand anachronism...a principled man out of time, as it were. He truly made a difference. And for that we owe him much.

Why do the 911 truthers not get it??

If Ron Paul was to say he thought it was an inside job,
it would be the end of his run for president. He needs to get in first before he can do anything about
it!!He said he would be willing to do a new investigation. What do
people want from him!!

911 Truth at Debate

I've heard that before about folks not supportin' him after he disassociated himself with it but, I don't believe it, I think he still believes it! FIRST THINGS FIRST! And, I think that he's keepin' it hid for the time being.

He knows the the whole UnConstitutional System is corrupt. Ya have to pick your fights wisely, First Things First.

The motive behind the question was just to discredit him, hinting at unpatriot.

Also, he may have taken the weak road on that one but I think he has a very good reason. Its not the entire campaign, first things first. The whole system is corrupt! Gee, where do you start, 911? The system was corrupt before 911!

But, I think that the "911" alone could enrage a Revolution and that it should if it was proven "beyond a ......."! The "People" have to want it, they have to want the "truth and nuthin' but.......". If the "truth and nothing but the truth" sounds childish and or silly than "We" are not at that point. Because, it has "lost its meaning", same as the word "treason".

I think that 911 Truth could very very well be the case but, PROVE IT! It'll take more than me. PROVE IT! PROVE IT! PROVE IT! MAKE THE POINT CLEAR! PROVE IT!

'I always think of all you

'I always think of all you canvassors and precinct leaders at the front line.
Good luck out there &Thank you. It's appreciated'.-fip -U.K
