Well, with each and every passing day, we seem to draw nearer and nearer, to the reality of and possibility that, that Ron Paul might end up dropping out (even if because someone else is nominated at the RNC in September), and that the whole Ron Paul Revolution will become a figment of history and thing of the past. Before we let that happen, before we allow ourselves to drift into a position whereby we lack any potential of reviving the Ron Paul Revolution once such a day of Ron Paul's dropping out ever becomes a reaiity, why don't we begin comceiving plans on what to do with the Ron Paul Revolution BEFORE this happens, before it is too late. We may very well lose Ron Paul at any time, but we need not lose the Ron Paul Revolution as well! Already, my "MeetUp Group" subscription is about to expire. I don't even know how many members are even still checking their MeetUp group emails anymore ever since Super Tuesday? But one thing's for sure, if I let it (Meet Up Group subscription) expire...surely as many as nearly 40 people will disappear back into the community like as if they never even existed in the first place. Of course, I could reserve all their names and contact; but what good would this do if the whole rest of the Ron Paul Revolution simply allows itself to expire into oblivion? Ideas anyone, how we can KEEP the ENERGY, POTENTIAL and MEMBERSHIP of the Ron Paul Revolution alive and well long after 2008 if Dr. Paul simply goes back to a more secluded life of just Texas congressman? It would be a hundred thousand times more costly, complicated and virtuouly impossible to revive the Ron Paul Revolution through a *REUNION* as compared with never allowing it to evaporate in the first place.
I say that we need to make a serious request of Ron Paul. That if he should drop from the race, that he make a major announcement to us all. An announcement that would include an idea and recommendation how we can keep this "revolution" alive clear into 2012 and beyond. RP should leave us with "10" ideas in his announcement. These ideas, like the 10 planks of the Lenin's communist manifesto, should ALSO be a sort of "10 planks" (ideas) for OUR OWN type manifesto/Revolution. Please think of and post 10 ideas that we could submit to Ron Paul to read back to the Ron Paul Revolution. Our 1st idea should be for to pick a new leader, or WAY to keep the Revolution together. Other ideas might include ways how we could go about restructuring our meet up groups so that we are more connected. Maybe even create a whole new TYPE of Meet Up group(s). Another idea might relate to how we can build upon an organization - with a specific type database-like website(s) for use during voting to prevent voter fraud. Another idea might be how we can continue to BUILD and EXPAND the Revolution and keep adding numbers for as long as the Revolution continues. 10 ideas anyone?

Not going to read down
But, first, you are rather negative for a gearing up movement. We have just begun to fight.
Secondly, my first thought would be to wait for Dr. Paul's book. That is the logical place to look.
Thirdly, get as far away from Lenin's 10 as you can possibly get. Don't even refer to us and him in the same paragraph. Bad parallel.
Holding the group together-good. But I don't think Dr. Paul plans to let us just fade away and him to slip back into seclusion. I doubt seriously that he felt secluded to begin with.
Right now, energy into getting him elected is what we need.

To other countries media. Let them know we are being held hostage and we need their influence and aid. I believe we could call on the pepole arcoss the world. Because what happens to us happens to them in away. We could flood their internet and email tv stations asking them to help us stop this INSANE war war war war. They must want peace to. Wouldnt it work?

Ten ideas, even ten really good ideas, outside the context
of a well conceived and implemented plan, are of not much
value except to be interesting...
This website is a great tool which I appreciate very much.
But it's also a good example of what I believe is the basic
problem with RP2008 right now: It publishes and reflects lots
of good ideas and helpful comments from lots of caring,
passionate people. Yet all the comments and ideas are flying
around in every direction (so to speak) with very little focus.
Because of that, a lot of energy is wasted and it's hard to find a
way to move from talking to doing. This campaign not only needs a
strategic plan that 500,000 RP supporters will buy into, but then
a new framework for action by which it can begin to happen.
And, oh yes, it prolly would be a good idea to be doing this
below the radar... You can't win the Super Bowl if you let the
other team see your game plan!
I know what I'm doing
Regardless if Ron Paul wins or loses the election, I'm going to keep working with my meetup group.
This has never been about Ron Paul for me. It's been about spreading the most logical message on earth to as many people possible.
I will 100% keep working to spread this message far and wide. I used to feel sad and helpless, but now (thanks to the good Doctor) I feel happy and rejuvenated. Basically, we're fighting an information war.... And we can win it!
If we bypass the media and keep spreading the message, slowly but surely our country WILL change. It's just a matter of when not how. We have all the power to educate as many people as we can about the realities of our economic system and the logical ideas of what the role of government ought to be.

Why don't we adopt a media outlet or a media talking head?
We could purchase any book written by Ron Paul and ship it to whomever we wanted. This would cause Amazon to list his record book sales and at the same time Hannity, O'liely, Murdock, campaign camoron, the whole lot of em get inundated with Dr. Paul books at their place of work. Imagine every day These buffoons have to sign for registered mail, signature required 30 times a day. LOL

Why Call Dr. Paul a Liar
When he says he is going to the convention I believe him. If he drops out I will lose alot of respect for him. He said he is not. I personally believe him. He can still ride into the convention with however many delegates he has and demand some respect and political clout. All this talk of third party and dropping out is crazy. So we are going to fight for him and you call him, then call him a liar in the next sentence.
Perhaps I should reframe my words (and I JUST did)...
to better reflect "LOSING" Dr. Paul over that of him "dropping out." But what else could he do if someone else is nominated at the RNC? He will drop out! No other choice! So it is NOT out of disrespect that I say this like so. But I just edited it and reframed my words all the same. Thank you!
How about his book?
He wrote a book. It's called, "The Revolution: A Manifesto"
Yes but...
We don't know what that book is about yet and it doesn't even come out until April. I, myself, have already pre-ordered it through Amazon and I recommend that everyone else do the same. Even still, we don't know yet what that book will be about. It might end up having very little to even do with a Revolution. Ya know?
Here is what I think
Anybody who has decided to drop out of the Revolution is probably scared. The shit going on is definitely scary, now that I have woken up. There will be some of us who choose to try and forget this existed, because their brain refuses to try to understand what is going on because of the drag it brings to their vision of the world. We have to expect that some will want to run away and hope things will get better. It is just like any type of conflict, some will run away, and some will run right into the line of fire. I am choosing to run right into the line of fire, because I feel it is my duty to my country and my family and all who died to keep this message alive. Anyone who is still here is willing to run into this line of fire, and to me if it is one person or one hundred million means that fire will still burn and can be passed on. Lets not worry about those that have fallen out, let us worry about those that continue on.

that is the whole point that I am trying to make and that I am trying to prevent from happening. Yes, people WILL run away scared if the Ron Paul drops out and the Revolution falls apart. They will run away scared because nothing will be around for them to cling onto for security. THAT is why I seek ideas how we can PREVENT the Revolution from disintegrating into thin air so that we DON'T lose these people, nor lose ANYONE currently part of it. As long as it still exists and is still there, at least in some sort of NAME, and with some sort of PRIMARY LOCATION - including a PRIMARY WEBSITE - people will remain with it and we won't lose a soul.

They are running away scared because this reality is so scary. Who wants to face one world order and everything else that goes with it. That is what he is talking about. The people who are still here have a serious job to do right now. I get your point, but it is a -what do they call it, a rabbit trail? It is taking away from the point at the moment. It is assuming something we cannot be ready to assume now.

I have been watching all this closely now for a long time,
and can see some kind of line has been crossed recently.
Dr. Paul has said he's still in, and I believe him. Still,
something is different. That difference, I believe, is that
the original enthusiasm is being dampened by the
realization that the MSM blackout, coupled with the
apparent and suspected vote fraud nationwide, are
the real issues to face in this campaign. If we do not,
everything else is bound to fail.
We can win, but only when we realize that the first order
of business is stopping the vote fraud.
More voters, more money, more enthusiasm, hopeful
projections of secret delegates who will be there at the right
moment are all good and important, but even all together
these things cannot overcome vote fraud. Or have I missed
something?
This campaign needs a strategic plan that at the
moment seems to me to be non-existent.

Do we really need to reinvent the Wheel?
Guys, I think this is a great idea... and I'm wondering if you all have remembered what Dr. Paul has been talking about? This isn't about him... it's about US and LIBERTY!!!!
Look, he already said we don't need to start a new revolution we just need to continue the one that was already started. The 10 Planks of the Revolution can be the BILL OF RIGHTS! Guys, this doesn't die with Paul, this dies with us whereas if we decide to be complacent and not get involved it will be over.
Pick up the Constitution.... READ IT! There is a good class by Michael Badnarik on Google videos. Watch it.
The Revolution Lives in EACH ONE of US. How powerful is that? When you begin to realize that YOU have the power inside of you and that YOU have had it all the long.... THAT is what the ruling elites do not want... that self realization that we are powerful beings, we can create with our minds!

I am sounding an old trumpet ~ called "United We Stand, Divided We Fall!" I think that many, even MOST of us realize that we must continue to press on. However, I also believe that a majority of the "Revolution" will just go back to watching the "Simpsons" and "Sports" on their boob tubes. Much of this "Revolution" are people very "new" to this and these ideas. Unless something very concrete is still in place after November many of our "newbees" will simply just go home and brush everything aside like it was a bad dream. We need to STAY together, REMAIN united and REMAIN commited! Even committed to EXPANDING the Revolution. And yes, I agree, we DON'T need to reinvent the wheel and we need only to continue the one we have. But then, THAT is exactly what I am saying! And yes, I agree, this won't die with Paul, it will die with "us" if "We" don't somehow keep it titghtly knit and together after November IF RP is not elected. I also agree with you that we have the power within each and every one of us. But then, why should we start over from scratch and use our "power and minds" to rebuild what we could have prevented ourselves from having lost. If we maintain what we have, then we can direct all of our power and energy towards building upon it rather than rebuilding it. Ya know!
