Washington ballots discarded?
"According to a Ron Paul supporter who attended the Washington State caucus, 20% of the votes cast in that state are being thrown out because the ballot envelopes weren't marked Republican."
Anyone have any news on this?

The votes will not count
Quite a few people in Washington state use the mail-in ballots. People are already mailing in their ballots for the 2/19 primary ballot.
On the ballots, you have to check whether you are a dem or republican and you have to sign the oath. If you do not do this, your vote will not count.
The secretary of state said thousands of ballots are coming in without the oath signed and they will not count.
The instructions on the ballot are pretty clear. I don't see what the problem is for these people.
The oath is on the mail-in envelope, not on the ballot. I do not see how you can miss it.
I heard it was on the back
I heard it was on the back but I've never seen one.. I vote the old fashioned way. The Diebold way.. heh.
That is early mail in votes
That is early mail in votes for the primary (held on Feb 19th). Has nothing to do with the caucus that was on Feb 9'th.
I heard you can call the GOP before Feb 19' th(or someone, try calling the WA Paul campaign) and get this fixed if you voted and did not mark that box. (don't quote me on that though)
Hopefully our people will call and others will not.
