10,000 Chartered Buses for March on Washington!!!

Maybe we could setup Chip-Ins to rent chartered buses to invade The Mall in Washington D.C. as per Dr. Paul's new plan. Maybe 10,000 of them...
Maybe Meetups should coordinate this? Is there a Meetup coordinator person?
This would make it cheaper per person to go and people who couldn't attend could fund/sponsor other people to go for free.

Maybe this would be better accomplished on a local
level through the individual meetup groups? Each group could collect donations to fund their own bus? I don't know the how, but it does seem like a good idea in general.

Buses, city coordinator, and chipins
These are all great ideas. The buses hold approximately 50 people, there may be discounts if done as a package with hotels, city coordinators collaborate on their local numbers. chipin site could be done nationally and divided depending on travelers or could be done locally. What we need is a central command to organize this effort.

... the right person will read this topic. I can do some of the website work. If one ends up needing to be created. Or maybe some other established site can host it.

Might be best for each state to ccordinate through meetups.
but, the goal is to get there.
Busses and motels can be packaged for groups to save HUGE $$$.

This is something that is going to take a lot of time and planning, so we would need to get to work on it ASAP to make sure that we have it all worked out.

For those of you who are unaware of it..........
AMTRACK runs a train service through Washington DC daily. I live in central Virginia and have taken it several times. It is a little pricey but very convenient. Also, participants could buddy up with supporters who live in Virginia for an overnight stay and ride the train in on march day.

We need to set-up a website
with signups with people from each state, to see how many people from each area are coming, and make a poll to see when exactly everyone will want to march on washington, we cant have like 3 marches, unless each one consists of more than 300,000 people. Imagine if we had multiple marches, each time with a significant amount of people, that would demand recognition.

We can set up a forum for each state.
Then every city can have a section to organize it.
The state coordinator can make sure there is a city coordinator in each city.
I don't think limiting it to the meetup groups is wise.
Though they could be a definite part of it.

Meetup seem the natural/organic way to distribute the effort properly and most effectively.

I have chartered buses in the past and you have no idea how cheap it is! This would work for all cities within lets say maybe a 8-10 hour driving distance, so this would not work for Western and Southwestern states.
My guess is it would cost about $50-$60 r/t per person based on a full bus.
Maybe also offer....
... 3-4 day travel packages including lodging(and perhaps meals too).
Some other folks in another thread were discussing air packages. Wouldn't have to be just buses...
