Vote for Ron Paul, organization of mass write-in possible
Every state has an absentee ballot. Nearly 600,000 people have voted for Dr. Paul. Hopefully more than a million by the last primary. This is our base. A huge one.
We can organize a write-in option for the November election. Our votes can matter and be counted. Download and distribute state's absentee ballot. Write-in Ron Paul. Canvass for a write-in of Ron Paul. Hold Ron Paul write-in barbecues... Take a picture of the vote and mail it in. Upload pictures of thousands of votes. (Our paper trail!) Group votes. Meet-ups can take group shots of their votes at a late summer picnic. Real votes taken away from a McCain or Obama and offered to the candidate we choose.
We don't need the GOP or the Democratic machines to pick our player. Our power can overcome their bias.
Of course to elevate Dr. Paul to the nomination is where our energy must be focused now! Perhaps McCain will choke on whatever it is he stores in his cheeks. (Ron Paul votes probably).
This is an afterthought. And a positive one. A real vote, accounted for.
The GOP is already frightened about the "6-11%" they claim will be taken away from McCain, if Dr. Paul went third party.
As Dr. Paul declares, this is our revolution. He may be a Republican, a true Republican. But it is not the GOP that has raised his numbers and spread his message. This is our time now, not four years down the road. Too much can happen.

Yes
We will write him in
Rules
the candidate has to have registered as a write in in Texas. There are probably other rules and of course, deadlines too. Do you really think you are going to get our government away from the establishment? Even our long term voting rules are set up to be sure of a status quo.
Write in
I was planning on writing him in anyway. Really there is no one else even close to telling the truth.
All of the other candidates want to spend the U.S. into ablivion.
Write on
Yep. But we would need some kind of reciept, carbon copy or something.

I planned on writing him in anyway.
At most we would receive 3% of the vote with write-ins and they probably wouldn't even be counted. But he is the only candidate I will vote for.
We might have more
Who knows how much of the vote we could get by the time the general election gets here. If the precinct leaders do their job between now and the election, I believe we could do quite well. After all, we got over 20% in Washington state. Even 10% of the voters asking for a write in ballot would probably throw our elections into disarray. I agree, he is the only candidate I will vote for also.
