I don't think Ron Paul HQ wishes to just fund and do whatever they want to... They have there ideas how to get Dr. paul's name out there and we have other ways.... Plus he might lose campaign funding if they tried this !! As you can SEE from some of the Negative support going around..

It is on a Nationwide Grand National series car (formerly known as Busch Series). As such is less pricey, but still gets coverage most Nascar weekends and it is proposed to be at some level other than the whole hood - front of the driver suit kind of sponsor.

Those numerous small stickers all over the fender are mostly series mandated ones like Goodyear, Sprint, Nationwide, Craftsman, etc. You'll notice they're the same on every car, and in the same (required) place.

I think it is a co-sponsor deal. I'd have to guess the logo would be significant but the main thing here is that we get Paul's name on the car and then get Kenny talking about it all the time. If Kenny gets the feeling that his fans and media buddies want to hear about the deal, there will be no shutting him up.

So what if you dislike NASCAR, ink or piercings... as you hopefully now realize how small-minded you appear. I don't necessarily like piercings, but I won't pretend to be superior because of my indifference. I seriously doubt that what someone chooses to have sticking out of his/her face has any direct correlation to the lack of hope here in the Several States.

MILLIONS of Americans watch NASCAR every week.

It is an AdvertizingBomb on a weekly basis.

The better the racer is doing, the more his car is shown on TV, the more folks see his sponsors, the more folks may be turned onto the RP message.

And has tattoos? And dies his hair green? And wears a pony tail?

I have yet to be forced to watch NASCAR, get a tattoo, piercing or shaving. (Closest thing is actually an RFID courtesy of my government.) I have had many fascinating conversations with very inteeligent people who have voluntarily submitted to some or all of the above. Folks is folks, stop swallowing the stereotypes.
