Ron Paul Is Opening The Door

Since the beginning of the campaign the mainstream media has done their best to ignore, dismiss and marginalize Ron Paul while those of us involved in the grassroots movement in support of Dr. Paul have seen his support spread like wildfire through the internet. But as important as the internet is, the fact of the matter is that most of America gets their news and views from the mainstream media. As such the general public has been confined to a dark room as far as information on Ron Paul goes.

The most diligent of the people in this room have caught glimpses through the keyhole or under the door when the light on Ron Paul is at its brightest, such as in the debates. But most inside the room just go bumping around cursing the dark but not really working at seeing where they are going.

But now Ron Paul is pushing open the door of the mainstream media. And the light is shining in on people who have up until now been in the dark. And so support for Ron Paul and his message of freedom is growing.

And why wouldn’t it grow? It is America’s message. It is the message of the Declaration of Independence, of the Constitution and of the Bill of Rights. It is the message of the founding fathers and it is the message of the American people today.

Step by step over the years our country has lost its way. People move along with their lives and if the government does things that the average citizen doesn’t particularly like it can usually get away with it. “You can’t fight City Hall” has been ingrained into most people’s minds.

But now, after decades of both political parties slowly chipping away at our bank accounts and our civil rights, people from all over the country are saying they’ve had enough. The last straw came when the Democrats were given power in Congress to end the war in Iraq and have since proceeded to ignore the will of the people. So the people are joining with a congressman from Texas who has stood against the war from the beginning and who has been saying that enough is enough for many years. They have found a fellow citizen who believes in the message of America and they are rallying around him. That Dr. Paul has been consistently preaching the message of following the Constitution for 30 years gives him a credibility that can not be found in any other candidate of either major party.

Ron Paul’s supporters have used the internet to combine their efforts into a movement that is unique in modern politics. A movement that has generated a following at rallies and online, especially with regards to polls, that is the envy of all other candidates. And make no mistake; those other candidates have noticed us.

Then our fellow Americans did something that made corporate America take heed. They raised over $5 million in the last quarter. That really got the attention of the mainstream media. After all, they want that money. They want the campaign to buy advertising.

So now, with this extra clout behind him, Ron Paul is able to begin pushing open the door that the media has kept closed on the public for so long. A door kept closed so that the interests of the rich and powerful could be pursued at the cost of individual liberty and property. Now the light of the message of freedom is waking people up. And when that door is pushed fully open and Ron Paul is able to get our message of freedom across to the masses of voters we will see a surge in support that will gladden our hearts and restore our faith in America.

The rich and powerful interests who run the military-industrial complex and the mainstream media will not go down without a fight. They will continue to try and disparage our candidate and us. They will do their best to keep the masses in the dark. But we will prevail. Our Constitution and our republic will prevail. Our opponents should know that the Ron Raul revolution has not yet begun to fight.

Hope In Action

Wow.... What a wonderful post!!!! I know what you say is true, I just hope it continues to grow that way in the so many real people who have become so numb to what life can really be like, can really mean, to what this country was created to mean, to be a channel, a vessel for in the earth. I get encouraged every time I see another $100 or $300 show up on the donation meter. It gives me hope that what you are saying is actually happening. We are raising money at three times the rate of two weeks ago. There has to be a reason for that. THANK YOU for your great thoughts and words!!!! The time is NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Put up new signs out for people to see every day. They have months to see them and wonder about them yet. Live for Peace and Understanding!

Ron Paul and Seeing the Light

Nice commentary on the current political situation vis-a-vis the corporate media.

There is light at the end of the tunnel, America, and it's not an oncoming train....UNLESS....you're in the wrong tunnel!!!

Ron Paul for repeal of tunnel vision!!!

Evolution and Cause & Effect

I firmly believe that the only reason we have huge Corporations is because they have evolved to that size due to the need to survive attacks by voters, their elected representatives and government employees.

In other words, they got big so they could have a tax department and a government affairs department and all the other bureaucracy needed to deal with government regulation and taxation. Just properly collecting I-9's for new employees is a huge burden, with major fines if not done properly (enough to bankrupt a small business).

If we begin to insist on smaller government, the corporations will begin to break up into smaller, nimbler sizes in order to get back to competing with small and medium size businesses. Without government overhead, being big will not be such a big advantage.

It starts with voters. We cause big government and big business when we ask the former to regulate and tax the latter (forgetting what we have in our 401k's). There's no free lunch.

Our success supporting Ron Paul is a step in the right direction if you want a strong economy which allows new businesses to start, and smaller ones (and small, family farms) to survive.
