Why cant Rand Paul run for the congressional seat????

I think Dr. Paul's popularity is good enough to have his son with the district....We need Dr. Paul as president.....We need to run as a 3rd party!!!

He is an eye surgeon in Kentucky.
He also said while in Montana that he will eventually run for congress; however, I suspect he might be busy being the vice president over the next four years.
Not a resident.
The younger Dr. Paul 1) isn't a Texas resident, and 2) has his own medical practice to run.

in Chattanooga less than 2 weeks ago with Rand Paul...
The question was asked about whether he would ever run for political office. He's not opposed to it, but said that he would consider his family first, of course.

I agree Rand should run. I think Rand is actually a better public speaker and he is younger. We need as many Ron Paul's as possible and I think Rand would be a shoe-in somewhere.
