I am sick of all you Flaggers and Troll callers...
You are loosing people, pushing people away.
If you push someone like me away, then you truly have lost the cause to elect Ron Paul.

apparently they flagged me when i was arguing the integrity of factcheck.org against some extremists on this site. They then went back and quoted my past posts to try to discredit me. If these intolerant people are what we'll get with Ron Paul, then i may take my vote elsewhere.
Flagging is a violation of our 1st
amendment rights to free speech. True, this site is private and can make their own rules. However, since dp is supporting and promoting rp, isn't it a bit ironic that many supporters display oppressive additudes like those of big brother? If you truly believe in the Constitution, then demand that flagging be removed from this site. This revolution needs a rich mixture of ideas, both good and not so good. The worthy ones with excite interest, gain support and find a path forward. By the same token, if I were a spy, I would seek out the good ideas and flag them off this site as soon as possible, before they got any real chance to grow. Has this already happened? At least this possibility exists under current conditions. As far as name calling is concerned, it is low leveled and counterproductive. Repectfully disagree as Dr. Paul would. This way we can embrace all voices here and create a magnificent grassroots thinktank for liberty.

The definition of Troll is weak.
That website gives this as the definition.... "A troll is a bulletin board participant who posts for one or both of two reasons: 1) to disrupt; 2) to gain attention."
Infact, for real intellectual and reasoned discussion, no one should call any one a troll. With such a light and breezy definition, the posts can and do degenerate into a Kool Aid drinking personality cult.
I fear this is whats in store for us here at the Dailypaul if we do not lighten up. There are several people here that flag just about everything.
The automatic feature for Flagging should be deleted in my opinion.
The use of flagging NARROWS the discussion and narrows the appeal to the greater audiance. The Daily Paul seems to be building cheering section, that is total uncritical and without self evaluation.... this is unhealthy for the Revolution Movement. The effect of Flagging and Troll calling is the making of a Witch Hunt.
