Why this does not get more play by The Dr's Campaign people is beyond me - This is a HUGE ISSUE!

if this is the tentative date for our march to DC, I would like to suggest all the veterans of previous war and current who aren't deployed to attend, Norma L. McCorvey (of Roe v. Wade) and the members of the group, Bob Barr, Barry Goldwater, Jr., other luminaries you guys could think of. Let's make this day a very special and memorable day. Something we'd tell to our children and grand children someday, "I was there".

...but you have to get the word out somehow to ALL military personnel at home AND abroad. Maybe publicize an event as a way to give those "in the know" a voice against the McCain types that want more and more war.

A few ideas....Donate (as little as $5) to have your military voice heard. Keep a running tab of how many military personnel have donated. Pick a date such as Washington's birthday to let the event build and be circulated. Let them know that the final total of men and woman will be sent to all news media to show that their voices are being heard. Total money donated isn't the point here because it's all about individual people.

A huge turnout would be almost impossible to surpress. What would McCain have to say about the men and woman on the ground supporting Ron Paul!

I like this idea ProspectorSam! The men and woman in the military could spread the message among the troops. If they REALLY want to end the war, without expressing it verbally and being hard on their pocketbook, this could be their way to have America hear their voice.

it would be cool but what do you mean? Endorsement? Do you mean have this big deal and have them there in uniform? Can't do that with active duty and some retired. It is against UCMJ, can't campaign or be in a campaign rally/function. I'm a Former Marine, I know.

but I have the strong impression that it is not the GOP who is not aware of the endorsement by the military through their donations.

It is getting through the brick wall the GOP has built around the media to let the rest of Americans know where the military stands regarding their support, or any other of the immeasurable support Dr Paul has.

How to break it?? I don't know. I did read something about a plan, a project of getting over the top of main stream media by the gentleman who organised the blimp. I have seen very little discussion on the dailypaul about it.

I will see if I can find it again on the ronpaulforums.com. I understand if and when that project takes off, the message about Ron Paul will get out to the rest of America.

I'm bumping this again because I don't see much else being discussed that will improve our situation. Is this not a good idea? Is it impractical for some reason? What am I missing? If it's a good idea, how do we make it happen?

We need ideas. This is one. I'd love to hear some feedback.

Since it's so quiet here right now, I'll add this: you who stand firm now are the real deal. The persistent patriots. I'm proud to know you, and look forward to meeting you in Washington later this year. :-) I know this primary season has been rough on all of us; it's been so full of expectations and then disappointments. Never forget, we are finite and don't know all of the situation. There is doubtless a reason for why things are going the way they are. We know the message is true; we know the messenger is trusty; we know the time is right. So, why are we having so much trouble winning states? Well... I don't know that, but after much reflection I came to the realization that I can only control me, and thus I can't accept responsibility for what anyone else does. Once that became clear in my mind, I felt a lot less stress!

Now I simply work hard to get the message out, encourage and direct my troops, and create messages (videos, emails, w/e) which help enlighten the people. And of course I wave signs and canvass. :-) Beyond that, it's simply not within my control, so I leave the results to God.
