New BOOK Project-Update!

Hello Paulites!

Please keep this bumped! I am working on a book about Dr. Paul that would include information about him and his platform. This will only be a small part of the book. I want to also give many of his supporters the opportunity to be published authors as well. I have titled the book "Dear Dr. Paul" and the sub-title will read "Writings from the Revolution". Seth Richardson from Illinois-aka on DailyPaul as Break Free Now, designed the cover and it can be viewed here:

http://www.deardrpaul.acm...

This will be mostly a book of written letters to Dr. Paul, sort of like a personal open letter to him from each of us placed inside the book. I can only accept between 200-300 letters (depending on sizes). If I need more, I will request it on DailyPaul.

There will be no royalty fees paid to those who contribute a letter in favor of Dr. Paul. However, you will be listed in the book as a contributor and your letter will appear in the book as well. In order for you to receive a copy of the book, you'll have to purchase a copy at the normal rate+ship/hand. I will make sure Ron Paul will be justly compensated, and I will also donate a percentage of the profits to some of the great grassroots efforts such as DailyPaul, Ron Paul Revolution Radio, Call 4 Paul, and more. The letter should be a positive one of support, encouragement, love, and or testimonial (i.e. about how he cured your apathy), or what his message means to you.

For those who would like to particpate, here's what I need from you.

1. Your open letter to Ron Paul with your name (and your occupation if you want-especially if you're in active military) and City/State/Country of residence at the top of the letter. If you have a personal website, you can include the link (sorry, nothing distasteful please). The letter itself can be no more than 1500 words in length and (if you need more, go ahead and send it and I'll see if it will fit) no less than one paragraph. I must be able to copy and paste it directly into the book format. The font should be Times New Roman sized 11 and in black color. You will be submitting your letter knowing that I will have full permission to edit it (check for spelling errors, etc.) and publish your letter in the book and that you will receive no royalty fees or financial compensation whatsoever. You will also not hold any rights to your personal letter or the book. What do you get? You get the honor of being a published author and knowing that Ron Paul will forever have your letter in the form of a book. I will make sure he gets several copies. Please DO NOT email your letter in an attachment. Simply open your email just as if you were going to email me personally and type the letter like a regular email (No html code please), and again, no email attachments please.

2. You need to include the following information in the body (at the bottom following your letter) of your emailed letter.

I, (include your name here), located in (place city, state/country here), on the (list day-month-year) hereby agree to have my personal letter to Dr. Ron Paul be placed in book format and published by Bishop Caleb Kinley . I understand that I will not be compensated financially or in any other form from the publisher or Bishop Caleb Kinley. Furthermore, I waive all rights to my open letter to Dr. Paul so that my letter can be edited by Bishop Caleb Kinley if needed, which may include spelling mistakes, grammar, or downsizing, etc. Furthermore, I agree that my email to Bishop Caleb Kinley authorizes the use of my letter in his book project and acts as my legal electronic signature. This agreement may be modified at any time without notice at the sole discretion of Bishop Caleb Kinley.

EMAIL your letter to: rpletter@acmj.org

Sincerely,
Bishop Caleb Kinley, General Overseer

Just think about the future

Just think about the future if there is no Ron Paul presidency. The people will read this book (or their children) and say, why didn't I (they) listen?

you're right: my ten year old son

is very active for RP. He goes canvassing with me, makes videos of RP (spider-Paul and Ron Kombat-on youtube/acmj1 )...He goes to all the meetup meetings, wave the signs in the cold with the best of us. In fact, I just received permission from our Meetup organizer to sign him up as a meetup member; because he is our our eyes...:-) Glad to see he has taken such a great interest in his own future...:-) So keep getting the letters in. I'm at 24, but I need more.

We got 21 so far

21 letters have already been received. Some of these letters are very moving, some are humorous, and so forth. Oh how they love Ron Paul...seriously...Thank you so much to those who have submitted letters and for those who will be submitting letters soon! If you don't have a lot of time to write a whole letter, write a paragraph or two. They will be listed in State order. We want at least one for each State. We'll do volume two next titled; "Dear Dr. Paul, Writings from the World-wide Revolution".

Whatever it takes to help, I will be willing to at least try. That is why I joined this campaign, to be proactive.

being proactive

is the key, especially since we now have someone who is worthy of living in the house at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It is because of people like you, standing tall and standing strong, speaking out when needed, and promoting freedom, that we WILL get our country back.

I know

when writing about Ron Paul it hard to have a minimum word count, but I want to make sure the book size keeps the price low...You can write more, I just may have to condense it. If I do, I'll email you (or other writer) and see what part they want condensed. If I don't have to condense the word count, I'll include it even if its 2K words...

I changed the title of the post and checked

the box to leave a shadow copy. I have no clue what a shadow copy is, but when I done that, I no longer see the new title on the right side of the page of recent comments. Anyone know why?
