What happend to the State of Washington?

Hey Guys,

Has anybody heard the latest in Washington? Are they still at 87 percent? I thought I read somewhere on this site that the delegates were rewarded to Ron Paul, has that been confirmed? Also CNN, I know its CNN, they state Mr Paul has 16 delegates I thought he was much higher than that. Can anybody shine some light on these questions. Thanks

Here's the latest info.

From the Washington State Republican Party website (http://wsrp.org/News/Read...). It seems that Huckaboob scared them in to counting more votes yesterday by threatening legal action.

Statewide Results 2008 Precinct Caucuses:

Precincts Reporting 96.0 %

Candidates Percentage
Huckabee 23.3 %
McCain 25.6 %
Paul 21.4 %
Romney 15.3 %
Other 1.1 %
Uncommitted 13.3%

I thought someone posted 900

I thought someone posted 900 delegates for Paul and 600 for McAmnesty.

That's news to me.. I don't

That's news to me.. I don't know if its true.. the GOP did not report that anyhow.. that data must be coming from the Paul Campaign from their own (Paul campaign had sent supporters with a result sheet for PCO's to sign)

..

Ya know, the media is not going to bother to take the time to explain it to people, so its our job.

They just say.. oh WA's over, McCain won, go back to sleep America.

Don't worry, we won big - under the radar

Like RP said we are going all the way to the convention. Be ready for Obama

Washington was never at 87%

Washington was never at 87% for anything meaningful.

Washington had a meaningless sign up sheet for the caucus that is being called a "straw poll" and that poll is what was reported to the media, nothing more.

What canidate a precinct delegate supports was not reported on the delegate sheet. ALSO caucus goes were not told by in large that this was a straw poll or that it would be reported at all to anyone.

--again-- read my lips, you do not cast a vote for a canidate at a caucus, you elect delegates. We elected Precinct delegates on Feb 9'th

Precinct delegates, go on to elect district Delegates (in King), who elect County delegates, who elect State delegates. This process will finish sometime in May.

Washington also holds a primary this is on Feb 19'th (and yes, mail in ballots were sent in for this already)

So to answer your question.. who cares what they counted. We wont have delegates from Washington until May, but Paul did very well and has (maybe) a majority of Precinct delegates.

All we know it that he's

All we know it that he's doing much better then they tell us. I think the campaign knows more then the media and I think RP wants it that way.
