I voted for April 19, because it won't as hot and the vacation traffic won't be as bad. The down side is that people with kids will either not be able to attend or will have to make arrangements for their kids. No matter what date, me and my family will be there!!
edit: I had forgetten about Stormfront being in Washington. RATS!! I voted wrong!!

For those of us with school age children - June would be better - But I would be willing to have my son miss two days of school to rally for his future freedom.

Whatever day it is, I will be there.

Also, we should also try to arrange for group rates at Hotels, Airlines, Ect

I voted for the April Date because that is a month before May - another big Primary month - Just seems like by June - it may be to late.

..because we live in Oregon, and there are a number of reasons April is too early for us to be able to leave..

I agree with some others who have talked about the need for some time to put the logistics of an event together like this.. like hotel rooms, buses for mass transportation.. etc.. That cannot be done by April 19.

I think Memorial Day weekend would be the best. It's already a holiday, so a lot of people will already have the time off work (so our numbers could be greater), plus it's a patriotic weekend.

June is the best date, but I can't do it.

But then I can't do April either, and if that is really a date for Stormfront, we need to distance ourselves from that rather quickly.

Real ID may be delayed even longer that that.

The movement has lost serious ground in the last weeks. Look at the donations drop and people want to wait till JUNE? I don't understand that. The April date has much more significance and for momentum's sake it needs to be April in my opinion.

If you vote for Apr 19, you will inadvertantly be supporting the Stormfront rally already planned that same day.

Has anyone asked? He was talking about later.....

The Historical signifigance of june 21,1788 (220 yrs) is that is the day that the Constitution [We The People...] became the law of the land. This was the day that N.H. was the 9th state to give a 2/3 majority of the 13 states to ratify the Constitution replacing The Articles of Confederation (our 1st constitution). ref: Wikipedia, constitution, ratification. And isn't that the goal of our movement, the rEVOLution, to protect and defend this document of law??? What better day to show our support with the March on DC. We are not free if we aren't willing to defend Liberty, Patriot4Paul. Note: PLEASE POST/Reply BELOW here to to keep this relevant info at the top.THANKS !!!

I'm biased because I will be out of the country in mid April, but I also think it might be easier to get more people out there during the summer months.

I think people who aren't even with the Ron Paul campaign will know what April 19th is all about.

No other day carries so much weight.

Logistics? We have over 2 months to let the country know. That's alot of time.

Plan B is June 21st...it's a Saturday, it has some historical value. I just do not see the value in an extra 2 months to prepare. College is out of session, they'll be at home for the summer. And the last primary is June 3rd.

Can somebody please talk about logistics here...

The only thing I have to do is leave Friday night and arrive sometime in Washington on Saturday. There's really not much advance notice required. Gas, food, water, smokes, what else do I really need? It's not like we're staying the whole weekend. I'm not even going to get a hotel room, screw that, I'll just drive home after the march.
