Newsweek is lazy

They are just re-running something that factcheck.org posted yesterday or the day before. I know there was a big thread about the fact check article on here yesterday. Looks like Newsweek is running it verbatim.

why are they going after him?

didn't ghandi say it best?
first they ignore you. then they fight you. then you win.

apparently, ron paul really IS in phase 2.

next stop: phase 3, the winners circle.

You forgot..

"...then they punch you in the back of the head...."

ignore-->ridicule-->fight-->win

missing a step ;)

These people are despicable

They ignore Ron Paul the entire time, leave him out of any articles on the race, then go ahead and publish some BS piece at this point? What the fuck is wrong with these ninkompoops?

Here's another part that doesn't exist...

http://ttc.keeptexasmovin...

and discussions on the nonexistent project..

http://www.tfhrc.gov/pubr...

That from the US Department of Transportation..lol

They want you to believe he is down..

Because they want him to stay down. He is a huge threat in that he has more money. And more support...with the highly organized. Speaking of which anyone willing to host a site for an ad campaign?

disingenuous article

1. In attempting to refute the trillion dollar cost of maintaining our empire, the article neglects to mention how we are spending a billion or so a day in Iraq. The article is trying to downplay the money wasted in an effort to discredit Ron Paul. Watch for future articles that will criticize the money wasted on Iraq and maintaining our overseas military bases!

2. Regarding Ron Paul distancing himself from Reagan, they are deliberately misleading others on the fact that Ron Paul was actually distancing himself from the failure of the Reagan Republicans to follow through on their original campaign promisesRon Paul often states that Bush and company originally had a good campaign platform--before they did a 180 once they were in office. It's not his fault that Reagan either failed or lied once in office to make good his promises that he ran on! Reagen health was never the same after the failed assassination attempt early in his presidency. So many of his intended goals could no be addressed.

3. How they can ignore the Superhighway corridor, and not treat it as it is, an infringement on our sovereignty, can only be akin to putting their hands over their ears and chanting, "I can't hear you, blah, blah, blah"

4. The last nasty tactic of the said article is that they are not interviewing Ron Paul in person on his postions--They are taking his statements out of context to make their argument--and Ron Paul is not there on the spot to clarify or refute their statements. Which is par for course of the mainstream media not being objective in their treatment of Ron Paul.

The low blows come fast and

The low blows come fast and furious in this new Newsweek article. Odd that they'd publish such a long character assassination piece at this time... they keep telling us that Paul makes no difference in this race.
