If you listen carefully to Dr. Paul, one thing that you will notice is that he always refers to his seat in Congress as "our" seat. Not "mine" but "ours."
Between all the corporations and their high paid lobbyists and powerful special interest groups that dominate and manipulate the government to their advantage, We the People have barely a voice in the workings of government any longer. That's not how it always was, but that's the way it is today. However, we do have at least one member of Congress who understands that. Dr. Paul is not "one of them," he is one of US. If you ever have the good fortune to meet the man, you will understand that immediately.
We the People still have at least one representative in Congress. There is one of us in the ring, standing up for us, fighting for us. Over the past year you have seen his courage on display in speeches and debates. You have witnessed that he will not back down, even in the face of the most powerful individuals and institutions in Washington today. He will stand for liberty, justice and the rule of law. No matter where you live, Ron Paul represents you.
We have a tough fight in the Republican primary on March 4th in Texas. Please donate what you can to Ron Paul's Congressional reelection bid, and help protect our seat in Congress. FYI, I sent $250 yesterday.

I watched her in comittee the other day asking the chief of police if he didn't take an oath to uphold and defend the constitution and didn't he believe that the people still had second ammendment rights.

got a flyer in the mail today from this organization. They have a list of all people running for anything this year as republicans. They are recommending Huckabee for pres and RP for US Rep OVER Peden. I was glad to see that but not the pres recommendation.

Jim Rogers supports
Ron Paul and has also contributed. Dr. Paul believes in individual freedom, and he would be the last person that would ever stop Jim Rogers (probably a friend too) from going to Singapore/China. In fact Singapore, like Switzerland, is a prime example of the sort of society Dr. Paul is advocating for the US to rekindle. Rogers is also highly critical of the Fed and also believes in commodity and commodity investment (like Paul) and is also very concerned about the USD (like Paul). In fact this is the reason why Rogers is emigrating: he had enough of the sliding of the USD and the bureocracy and mismanagement and also see the economic difficulties the US is going through. If Dr. Paul gets elected, I am sure Jim Rogers would want to stay in
the US.

I don't see why Ron Paul would want to stop Americans from being expats. Most of the expat community is for Ron Paul because of all the new Bush laws that seek to legislate over Americans who live outside the boundaries of the US.
Bush's regime has behaved like the US government owns its citizens when they travel abroad. It started with the outrageous prosecution of Johnny Taliban in a California courtroom instead of an Afghan court room. Then it went to the Protect Act which people accept because it has put 30 pedophiles behind bars for things they did outside the jurisdiciton of the US. Then it was the law that forces us expats to declare all foreign bank accounts to the IRS (it is not their business).
Sure, lots of expats may disagree with RP on immigration because we are immigrants wherever we go in the world, even if we are really just stopping by some country for a 2 year sojourn...but RP is the only answer for us overall because we care about our rights and do not consider ourselves owned by the US gov.
Anyway, regarding OUR seat in Congress: This concept is PRECISELY why I proposed a Constitutional Amendment yesterday whereby we stop the practice of only electing people to Congress based on Geography being the only way to say "My Congressperson" or "My Senator". I am the constitutuent of the Congresspeople who want to represent ME, not my home state or supposed home county.

actually Dr. Paul is not ideological against immigration, especially illegal immigration. I understand it is for economic reasons, e.g. the welfare state cannot handle funding illegal foreigners in the US. I am sure Dr. Paul understand the US is a country of immigrants, just as his grandfather came from Germany.

Peden's false accusations about Dr. Paul need to be neutralized. I see that someone just registered the name on the .net and the .com is taken. The .net is not the same owner as the .org so hopefully someone grabbed this and will make it a counterpoint site.

Taking the view that we need to end a War on Drugs that costs so much money and puts so many non-violent offfenders in prision gets turned-around to mean Dr. Paul believes in legalizing heroin!
On the other hand, I believe he was hard-pressed during an interview and actually said he'd take it that far. But taken in context, it's not the same thing.

Yes, you can.
Your limit is $2,300 for each election and election cycle. So you can contribute $2,300 for the primary, and another $2,300 for the general election in both the congressional election and the national election. They are separate elections.
See the donation page for the full details, but this is what it says:
The maximum an individual may contribute is $2,300 per election contest. Couples may contribute $4,600 per election contest. This means, for example, that contributions given for the Primary Election are counted as a different election contest than the General Election. So, if giving contibutions to both election contests, an individual may contribute a total of $4,600 and a couple $9,200.

I am really worried about Ron Paul's presidential campaign. Is everyone paying attention here???

Stranger things have happened ya know. The Paul camp HAS to be on their toes (unlike NH, IA, LA, WA, etc..) and be on the lookout for election fraud of any type, or he will lose "our seat".

He's doing exactly what Paul's 2006 republican primary opponent, Cynthia Sinatra, did. By that I mean he's given himself well over 100,000 dollars of his own money for his campaign.

He always refers to the fight as "our" fight or "we" are being censored, etc. It is never just him. He knows all of us are fighting for the presidency to restore the constitution and so all of us are being censored and marginalized. He is such a humble man. God bless him.
