CONVOY TO THE MARCH!
(the idea for this convoy came from my friend Les White: the Norman OK Meet-up leader)
Marchers should caravan together starting on the west coast in cars and vans rolling across the US in a synchronized convoy all the way to DC! Marchers in other parts of the US should join the convoy as it rolls through their area. We could track the convoy's progress online so others could know where and when to join in.
I will crawl through glass to be at this March. The Government will finally have to notice the millions they have been trying to silence and the country will see that the time has come to take back their liberty. This is truly a bold idea from our leader Ron Paul. I call on other Iraq War Veterans like myself to join with us in this March to end this war and restore our liberty. Our soldiers won this war years ago, when are they going to get the Hero’s welcome they so richly deserve?

Isn't that a double edged sword. It would be a lot easier to throw people off if you know exactly where they are. I like the idea, I really do. I just wonder if it can and would be used against us...

Now this is a great idea.
It's simple makes a statement and FUN. Yes, FUN ! Time to put the FUN in the Revolution. Positive energy Dr. Paul has the solutions to the problems we should be joyful spread the message. Our positive attitude can trump their negative. We need someone with experience on how to get people to meet along the routes and places to stop to rest and picnic. Have your Ron Paul signs in and on your wheels. Dates, times meet up locations and then publish it on the Daily Paul. Oh, this would be awesome, like Woodstock on wheels. hee, hee We will change the world one rally at a time Peace and Love let's spread it around. Leave the anger behind, time to rise above it and release it, set it free. We can succeed if we follow the good Dr. Paul example. Bless our vets!

We need to get the Blimp to St. Paul. The DC rally is a great day to raise money for the Blimp. We need a Money Bomb site up for the Blimp. I am sure we can get $100,000 in 2 months

YEAH BABY! Its time to bring the party to DC. I was at the April 15th ralty. We need a much larger turnout to be taken seriously. The caravan is a great idea but people need to go to their compatriots, young and old, and get their butts to DC.

If you can't be a delegate, then volunteer at the convention, you will be able to influence undecided voters.

We're going to rent a mini-van
and I still have to see if my Fredhead uncle will let us stay with him. We'll have to join the front of the convoy and fall back over time. I have a feeling there's going to be a frequently stopping part of the convoy (people with kids, diabetics, vans with a mix of smokers and non-'s, etc.).
If my Fredhead uncle doesn't have room, I'll look into getting a summer camp rented for the families with kids. Tent cities may spring up, too, but folks will have to hire private security because you can't bring your guns into D.C. and you wouldn't want to leave them behind, either. That, or whoever ate the bad fish on the way stays behind to guard the guns.

might be a good idea to phone restaurants along the way to ask for buffets to be set up and have a couple dozen buses stop at different places so that we can have faster service and keep the convoy running. it would be a game of catch up pretty much but in reality would show the convoy to be huge!
and how many miles per day and how many days from the west coast to D.C?
And find out if county fairgrounds will let us park vehicles at night.

NO date has been set!,
Depending on how long you have been out the loop then FYI RP will set the date because he is doing an investigatory committee to figure out some of the logistics and basic details,hopefully we will have our answers this week or next, although he has mentioned Memorial Day or the 4th of July.
Will the Media Cover it? Most likely not.
I'm not sure this March idea is such a good one. The time and resources used up in this show of force will not be covered by the media, so the public will never notice that it even happened. Sure it will be published on YouTube, but so what. And even if it was shown on TeeVee most Americans will say it is a bout time and be thankful they did not have to do any work, and will turn over and go back to sleep.

will cover the convoy as it goes through it's towns, at least the larger towns will, depending on how large it is when it drives through. I think, as the convoy grows, we would need to alert the authorities that we are coming through. I'm not sure about that but as I remember some of the largest bike runs in California were followed by the press to alert citizens that they were coming and what their plans were, like where they would be stopping, that sort of thing. Something that as big as this might turn out to be would have to be well organized and planned. Routes, met up points, stops, fuel, overnight accommodations available, with pricing. What happens if there is a break down or detour. Not to direct people but to allow them enough information to know where they join the convoy and what they can expect along the way. Truckers are very good at this sort of thing. As well as large motorcycle clubs, I'm thinking Harley's.

Local media in ALL areas that host this convoy as it passes will not be able to resist this opportunity to cover the event...and it will spread fast.
The nicer the weather ( late spring at least ) the better the attendance and the coverage too. Each town passed should be a "mini-march" with locals.
Well we can march...

Listen I went out weeks ago and bought -that car/window paint, I've been a driving billboard, tons of people have questioned be as to who is Ron Paul. It's great!!! Just a thought for the Convey!! TRUST ME you they'll see us on every highway.
I also plan on writing on the back of my car, something like "If you care follow me", "Hope this way" or putting a CB channel stating if your interested in finding out what going on that we are all are willing to talk to ya. LETS DO THIS BABY !!! I want people to join all the way there. BE ready to convert on the road people The CB idea is great just for communication with each other regardless both on the ride and at the march. I don't know what channels will be best any of you truckers have suggestions?? Hey and don't forget to be polite!! We have to represent RON PAUL and a message . Thanks RED!!!! truckes use ch 19, info channel, road conditions, fuel stop locations, accidents, detours. than with the hand held FM radios you can have like 13 channels to chat.
