and all info shared. I was talking with a guy just last week and I made the statement, "It's amazing how we pay taxes to build and maintain our roadways, then turn around and ask permission to use them." His response was, " Yea, but the government pays for most of it." DUAH??? Just mind blowing!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm in Ohio. What's the difference whether it says 'Driver' or 'Drivers'?
I talked to a lady at the BMV here in Ohio about RealID for a minute or so. She was almost entirely ignorant of it. We've got to educate before it's too late! Google RealID. It's happening May 11, 2008!
You are a "driver" as in a business, not a "private" citizen! You'd be amazed at the word play!! Get a Blacks Law Dictionary, there are many meanings for simple words. Remember when Clinton said, "It depends upon what the meaning of the word is, is." He wasn't rambeling, he understood word play as I call it. He's a lawyer...........
Commercial Vehicle. Every state has a statute stating this or something very similar. To require a "license" to drive an automobile would be unconstitutional in that it would prevent one's ability to "travel freely". Why then can you be arrested for driving an automobile without a license? Because 99.9% of our population is completely unaware of the afrorementioned and law enforcement can get away with it. Ultimately you will pay a hefty fine and their true goal of never to impede commerce is accomplished. This supposed statute violation is actually considered a commercial crime and falls under the Uniform Commercial Code. Remember to always sign above your signature on either the Driver License itself or a citation (if you receive one ) Without Prejudice UCC 1-207. If anyone finds this difficult or impossible to believe, research this subject and you will find what I stated to be accurate.
May want to listen to Mike Badnarik radio on www.wtprn.com Tues 2-19 at 7 AM CST (see his archives for podcast). He is interviewing Joe Pittman who just won his case in VA to drive without a driver's license. I have few details and understand it's based on the "right to travel".

In a like case,a brief, (17pg) including constitutional refs. presented in ct. with listed cases (as above) and it was deemed "irrelevant" How is the constitution "irrrelevant?" Judges get by with this all the time!!!!
The Constitution is generally irrelevant in statutory courts. US courts are predominantly based on uniform commercial code UCC whose jurisdiction trumps common law for most US citizens. In traffic court several years back, and not having the sense to know any better, I asked the admin. judge if hers was a statutory court or a common law court. I said I was interested in knowing which rules we were using. She was not pleased. Going off on the traditions of the system and the nerve I had questioning her authority to conduct the case. I still had to pay the fine but would have approached it differently if I knew then what I know now.

illegal act or activity. However your right to travel = your right to drive.
It is not a privilege it is an absolute right.
Google legal brief on right to travel.
If anyone has any further information on this issue
I would surely be interested in receiving it.
Thanks ahead of time.
