My American Flag Is Now Flying Upside Down

Section 8a of the United States Flag Code states, "The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property."

Where am I missing the part about the invitation. And make note, life or property. Now we all are at risk of losing our property if we don't succumb to the land taxes the fund our public school system. I would say my farms are in dire distress.

Then when would you say we are in distress....maybe when the foreign troops come to take you away. I suppose you like the fringed flag in your local court room at the courthouse? Isn't it pretty?

Had mine upside down for a week and no one commented. But, I live in the country. I have a Ron Paul flag coming and plan to hang it above, the upside down US flag. I am trying to piss folks off so they will come onto my property and I can try and educate them. Most Americans are gutless and afraid. I am proud of you cspanjunkie!

A person can burn the flag to protest only if your black I guess. But, that was probably done in another State. Even so, I believe that law applies to all States.

I think patriots do their best to assess a situation and tryo to make good decisions. You came to a different decision, I see, but that does not give you the authority to judge the heart of the poster.
