it is still way early in most of the nation. Let us keep our fingers crossed. Keep up the great work everyone.

It's a lot simpler guys. Us hardcore supports, we're either broke or maxed out. Plus, we just don't care about moneybombs anymore.

Allow me to explain.

Moneybombs began as way to get Paul publicity. Remember remember the 5th of November. We had slogans, we had a long lead up time, we had youtubes, we had the FIGHT THE MAN mentality. And it worked, but that only works a few times. See, we got our publicity. These are now just to get more money, and in most cases, things like concerted action don't work so well for this. A "Hey guys, it's President's Day! Donate!" would be better than trying to hold people to a standard, implying shame and non admittance if they don't donate now.

Try and ease off these "collective donation" days. They served their purpose and they're getting to be a waste of time.

What isn't a waste? Become a delegate! Talk to friends! Canvass even if you've already had a primary. At least now you know people aren't getting 4 phone calls a day if it's before a primary. People will know how much you really care if you're working for it before Paul even gets the nomination. Who knows, those people might even donate now if they haven't heard of Paul before.

we need to start working on the next bomb today if we want it to be a success... there's only 2 in a half weeks!

Every Paul supporter must PROMOTE it. That's how the teaparty was so successful. We emailed everybody, posted it online everywhere, had banners on every Ron Paul website, Messaged everyone on Myspace and Facebook, put the website on the bottom of your emails, had a full page ad in usa today etc.

Ever since MTV, new donors have been out-giving repeaters.

They are out-giving us today, too.

That means this is the BEST moneybomb they have ever seen!

Notify your Meet-up groups. Do not assume anything. New members want their chance to have fun!

I'm also noticing that many donors are coming from places where active campaigns were run with TV and radio, precinct walking, etc. They are giving. We got to them. We are getting to them.

really seem to have a good effect on contributions. Everyone wants the moneybombs to work, but when there is no way to quantify possible numbers, I think people wait to see how things are going. This leads either to low contributions, or late participation. It really pushes people to take their own initiative, like you and me and several others did this past Friday.

another thing that might help is if the people at ron paul graphs could keep all their charts updated and annotated with a goal, like what they did for teapart07... the people had something concrete to shoot for. This and the pledge counters gave us all two bits of information that made us want to join in.

The HQ set a fourth quarter goal of $12 MM which we beat handily, and then they set a $23 MM goal for before super tuesday which we couldn't meet for whatever reason.

The excitement factor is not quite where it was last quarter, but this could change.

We may not like the OM, but for a while Ron was on several shows almost daily as a guest. DailyPaul had links to videos flying around. We need to get some more spotlight to remind people that we are still there.

This Money Bomb is the only one to date that has two Ron Paul Campaigns to contribute too.....

This is unique and has caused contributions to be split between the Presidential and the Congressional Re-election Campaigns....

That said, I agree that promotion is the key, getting Banners on all of the Top Ron Paul Sites, http://www.topronpaulsite...

Also promoting via e-mail to meet-up groups, myspace, facebook etc....
and having a Trevor Lyman, or the Campaign use their mailing lists to promote the Money Bomb....

March 4th, Constitution Day should have a Banner already made and ready to be placed on RP Sites tomorrow morning....

There are alot of people who will snap to attention with any good news, a state win, etc. We must make this good news happen, McCain is stumbling, he may not even be that healthy besides the fact that he lies and many many people are seeing it. Many supporters have also been sidetracked slightly by looking into all the freedom projects that are exploding right now as a result of the "wake up". We have to sustain the momentum, everyone thought we would be down and out by now, broken and quitting. We are the core, the core must stay on track, we must run a straight line. We take our marching orders strictly from Ron Paul and our Constitution. FIGHT ON WITH YOUR HEAD HELD HIGH! There are millions of people out there looking for something to believe in, we must do as Ron does and lead by example. Let our example be the light that glows so brightly that it melts the walls that try to contain it!

The meet up groups have contact information for hundreds of thousands of Ron Paul supporters. If the heads each one of these groups were to be contacted prior to money bombs, the leaders of the meet up groups could get the word out to many supporters. These supporters would in turn tell others of the upcoming fundraising and success could be had.

Ron Paul has the largest amount of meet up groups and the meet up groups are pretty well organized. I would highly recommend doing just this.

There is still time that this could be done and should be done accordingly.

I will be contacting memebers of mine now.

We need video editors to create Youtube Videos, more word of mouth,and emails to meetup groups. Nobody seems to realize we need time to build momentum and publicity. Now we are down to the wire with only two weeks until the next money bomb. Two weeks means less than $500,000. A month well-planned may break the $1,000,000 barrier. People are saving their money right now, so it is harder to get commitments. But we should do our best to make March 4th a success. We can do $500,000!

Ron Paul has abandoned all his non republican supporters by denying them a run in a new party or in an existing LIBERTARIAN PARTY. The Libertarian Party is already on the ballot throughout the nation. Please sign the following petition.

Moneybombs always do better on weekdays. Donations are always down on weekends/holidays. I think some people rely on internet at work.

I have not even got an email about it today from the pledge site. Many people who already voted don't see the need to give anymore. If HQ organized something like the MARCH FOR FREEDOM BOMB or something people would take notice.

This thread is meant for people who truly care about improving these efforts. Please don't flag it and complain just because some people want to try and do better next time.
