That $8 billion has gone back into the american economy. Most if not all the civilian sat nav products are chinese or whatever. The bandage manufactureres are doin well an all so we should expect the prices to tumble on mass produced gasoline products too.

Not only is the war spending adding to the deficit/debt, but it's aiding to devalue the dollar as Bush keeps borrowing and asking for more and more money, which is then printed out of thin air, raising interest rates, lowering value.... IT'S MADNESS!

But he is right that the housing market also is a contributing factor... but that I think was also effected by spending and bad monetary/fiscal policy.
