The ONLY drawback to Ron Paul is his age.

As I see it, Ron Paul is otherwise, the perfect candidate. He has the wisdom, the integrity, the record, the intelligence, all the righ tideas.... I could go on an on...
But the American people are sometime slow to catch on to the truth. (And of course the MSM hasn't done ANYTHING to help that.) And, sadly, though I still have my hopes up, it appears that it will take at least another election cycle for the American peole to realize how badly they need Ron Paul.
In four years Ron Paul will be 76. Even if the good doctor decides to give the American people another chance, thats far older than anyone has ever been when elected to a first term.
He a physician... Perhaps the guy could devote his next four years to having himself CLONED. Or transplanting his intellect into a younger body? Just kidding of course. But I WISH it could be true.
Anyway.... I live in Wisconsin... so tomorrow is a big day for me. I have signs on my car and I can absolutely GUARANTEE at least one vote (mine) for RON PAUL.

How about we concentrate on THIS election.
Ron Paul is 72 now and very healthy. I don't know too many 72 year olds that would have the energy or initiative to be running for the office of the President of the United States as well as fighting to keep a Congressional seat.
He's living up to his side of the deal. Our job is to bring his message to the masses. How about we live up to our side of the deal.

But you have to remember how short some people are being with McCain about his age at 71-72. Imagine 76.
-We- know that theres no problem with Dr. Paul serving at his age, but just like every other problem we've faced... the problem is convincing the general populace.

NOPE. Age not a problem -- Management INexperience is...
As is demonstrated by the very poor oversight and "management" of this campaign.
IMHO the basis of this is not simply inexperience, but rather placing too much loyalty, trust and authority in the hands of his "long-time friends" -- and then refusing to hold them accountable for their errors, mistakes and missteps.
This is a very human failure, and it is also illustrated by the past problems with the "racist" comments that went out in the newsletter, and Ron's repeated refusal to identify the responsible parties. (It's all fine and well that "the buck stops with Ron" but his repeatedly misplacing of his trust *IS* a significant problem for someone who wants to run the executive branch. Personal loyalties MUST be set aside in favor of the public trust, and that is or should be as true of the campaign and its funding and administration as it would be of the Presidency; otherwise we'll end up with more "heckuva job Brownie" situations... shudder!)

Age has nothing to do with it
He is as fit as his ideas and philosphies are sound!! Ron Paul is a clear example of healthy mind healthy body
and btw... McCain is 71, looks old and sick but then again so are his ideas.
It's a Presidential race, not a beauty contest.

Plus 72 is not what it use to be. The fact is, RP's knowledge and understanding has been accumulated over several decades. Being around the block a time or two is a hell of a lot better than never being around to block at all!
