CONGRATULATIONS! Good work everyone on the money bomb today!
We were able to bring in over $500,000 for the Presidential and Congressional Campaigns today! (It was roughly between $520,000 and $525,000 total).
This is great! We beat the goal for the congressional campaign by nearly $350,000!!!! (the goal was $400,000)
These results are GREAT! I was estimating only $200,000! BUT WE BROUGHT IN HALF A MILLION!!!
I'm so happy I was wrong!

Focus of Congressional Campaign
Like many of you, I received the official email from Dr. Paul last night about his worry that the opponent in the District 14 race in TX is gaining ground. His words were so humble and respectable as always, I couldn't type fast enough to donate this morning. We all know his chances at president are all but gone for 2008, but we cannot let him lose his seat in Congress. Please donate so our ideals won't be completely ditched in D.C.

I don't know any Ron Paul supporter that thinks RP's chances are all but gone for 2008 for the Presidential race.

I think most Paul givers were maxed out but the congressional Campaign was open for us to give to Paul in another way if we couldn't give to the Presidential Campaign.

There are 100's of thousands of people who are not maxed out. Many of us are handling our money for times like these. Ron Paul continues to drawl money in. We know when it is serious. Knowing when to send the $$$ is important. That way he will never be with out $$$ when he needs it. Ron Paul is finding out that we the people are pretty intelligent. So, we can send money as needed. I am one of many who still has the means of $$$ to support the Ron Paul movement. Communication is the key. Surge on Ron Paul !

The first graphic was replaced with the current one which goes up to $650K. I imagine the webmaster will replace this one with a higher "thermometer" in the morning since Dr. Paul's email tonight said he only had about one-third of what he needed. At that time the Congressional Campaign Tote Board stood at $350,000.00. That's why we are estimating that the actual total needed is $1,050,000.00. Hope that makes sense.
