Prediction The United States Supreme Court Will Astonish, all of us and WILL BAN GUNS
I'm Making a Prediction, if arguments are correct and if indeed this administration or the next will impose martial law, and based on the firearms confiscation of legal firearms holders during Katrina.
And as the effects of the unconstitutional Un-Patriot Act Lingers Unchallenged
As stated today we will have military police riding trains. Starting to feel like we are undergoing a Nazi occupation yet?
Remember in May 2008, all of the states are supposed to convert all of the Sheeple with REAL ID Cards.
As the JACK BOOTED THUGS as we have heard them referred to, stops by a person on the train with his GERMAN SHEPARD, and ask of an unsuspecting passenger, may I see your "REAL ID CARD Please"?
Well everyone on the train will now be frightened by both you and him. What if dogs make you nervous? will you look like a suspicious person?
Despite what everyone believes, and that is, The United States Supreme Court will finally confirm the second amendments Right of The PEOPLE to BARE ARMS as an individual right.
I Predict they will act in full conspiracy with the other two branches of government.
They will rule against the people, and limit further or outright Ban the peoples right to keep and bare arms!
Has anyone but myself been puzzled, that not only Bush, but also, now McCain has stated that they both will only appoint strict constructionist judges. You know ones that won't legislate from the bench!
Hmmmmm,? Lets see, Bush while committing Treason, convinces a majority of the house and senate to also Commit Treason in a majority attempt to overthrow the constitution, by passing an unconstitutional law, falsely called the patriot Act, and then they both want to appoint Supreme Court Justices to stop them from doing that?
If the Supreme court does join them, then we need to dissolve our union, one state at a time or all at once.
We are indeed Ripe for a R3Volutionary March on Washington.
But don't forget your birth certificate, your real id card, and your TASER PROOF Armor WEAR. DO THEY MAKE SUCH A THING? What makes you think we have the right to protest?
Perhaps Bush can issue a one page booklet outlining what if any, of the rights or right, he as United States Dictator in Chief has decided to leave to the people. Sorry I meant sheeple?
Please give my Hmmmmm,? comment some thought!
Next Prediction, McCain will name Putin, sorry I did not mean to insult Putin. I meant to say McCain will choose Bush as his running mate

As of right now the Supreme
Court rulings have upheld the right of governments to ban guns. The Parker case, in which the Court is ruling on a the total ban of handguns in D.C., will consider the right of governments to ban guns. My guess is that they will rule against the D.C. and restore the right of citizens to own a handgun (with conditions) in D.C.
H-daddy
Your analysis is dead on target.
Good pun!
I hope I am right about the Parker case. Although only a few US cities have these blanket laws, overturning this irrational law will probably lead to a thorough examination of all gun laws and, more importantly, give some encouragement to those thinking of challenging other gun laws. I am not a believer in an absolute right to own a gun, but, I feel the right of the government to restrict gun ownership should be very very limited in scope. Of course, a constitutionalist such as Dr.Paul, would be clever enough to word this properly and frame the situation in terms of individual rights and freedoms. I'm not that clever.

Will Happen
To all the naysayers here, what makes you think that a Supreme Court that now allows government to take your house by eminent domain (for almost any use, including a superhighway), or just this week refuses to hear a case on illegal government wiretapping of US citizens would have any objection to promoting national security by preventing insurrections or removing tools of terrorism by these same citizens? That's how it could be framed in a broader case, and that's how it's going to ultimately be decided.
The events in New Orleans can and will be repeated elsewhere. The government has no interest in your independence or self-sufficiency.
Said the judge in the previous decision in favor of the ban:
To sum up, there is no dispute that the Constitution, case law and applicable statutes all establish that the District is not a State within the meaning of the Second Amendment. Under United States v. Miller, 307 U.S. at 178, the Second Amendment's declaration and guarantee that "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed" relates to the Militia of the States only. That the Second Amendment does not apply to the District, then, is, to me, an unavoidable conclusion.
Unfortunately
Fortune Favors the Bold
Emminent domain is constitutional. The question is what is "just compensation." It's a vaguely defined term. Personally, I would like to see that part of the constitution changed.
Ain't Never Ever Gonna Happen
No Bloody F'N Way! This Country has way way to many Good Old Boys - RedNecks - Crackers - Ex Military - Hunters - Outdoors men - ETC ETC!
If you never been to a gun show - Go to one & you will see all of these fine folk in person, hell if you come to Ohio you'll run into me.
Also everyone of these individuals are crack shots & in fact most have also spent many an hour with their kids - target shooting. This is one of the prime reason that our country has never been invaded. There are arsenals of weapons thru out this country - every country hollar - small town - big town - middle of nowhere -
They fear an Armed Populace & Rightly So
PREDICTIONS
Predictions are a dime a dozen and all yours are really way out there....You also have virtually nothing to base them on.....Simply not going to happen.....relax before you have a stroke or something
Sadly, I have to agree with you.
They took away guns from the people in Austrialia, we're next... the handwriting on the wall...
I dunno bout that...
The MSM has been surprising me lately. They actually have been the GUN PEOPLE to have their say on this issue. Their point is that if the pilots and professors had guns much of this stuff would not happen.
Either way, we need more recruits and we have to keep getting RPs name out there... here is my two cents...

I'd put all my money on this happening.

The SCOTUS does not have the
The SCOTUS does not have the power or authority to ban anything. They can only determine what the government's power is...
Right
Exactly, I predict the Supreme Court will agree with the Federal Government that the government has the power to BAN GUNS!!!
Mark my words, this has become the United States Supreme Kangaroo Court!
it would be nice if the rest of my comment
could post along with the first line.

Once our man is in office
we will ask for the "dismemberment" (
What would happen if...
everyone that owned guns all decided to trade guns with each other, at the same time, right out in public, at an organized function like a nation-wide rally or something of that nature?
Would it render any government gun registration system useless?
In my state, person to person gun sales require no paperwork
It is just sales from gun dealers to people which go through the background check, but there is even then no waiting period unless the system is down.
I have personally bought guns (both rifles and pistols) at gun shows from other individuals as simply as agreeing on the price and turning over the cash for the gun, neither of us knowing who the other was. I have also bought guns from individuals known to me only through a mutual friend. All this is completely legal in Missouri.
It is just when transactions between individuals cross state lines that paperwork is required.
In Oklahoma
you can buy them at garage sales.... :)
ATF
Only an ATF agent would float that kind of question. Hmmm?
That goes to show ...
Goes to show how much you know about the people that float such questions. Or me. I happen to think it would go along way to disrupt the unconstitutional registration of guns in this country. Don't you? And God knows, I'm no ATF agent.

It's cool...
I posted my response before seeing your Dbl.
Ya gotta admit, it's an interesting concept if enough people would do it.
Hmmm?
How about just locking them up and hiding them.
Mike did you or anyone else ever hear of a story that was out several years ago, it was called Coffin Rock?
I don't have a ready copy, however, it was rather powerful!
I can elaborate if needed.
Coffin Rock ?

Gee,
I only asked a little while ago if anyone made anti-taser wear. I love this group, you folks, for a rag tag group, you are really turning into good debate pros and product specialist.
Thanks
Hmmmm
It almost sounds like you have realized that five (a majority) unelected, unaccountable, judges dispense "freedom", rather than the illusion that government exists by the consent of the governed.
Welcome.
Bush would need five guys to agree to let him run as a VP-its "illegal" you know.
By the way, I only bare arm in the summer, its just too cold otherwise.

Really just one Arm?
I'll have to try that!

Regarding Encoded Ammo, which would virtually make reloading a crime and demands you dispose of all ammo you own that is not encoded........
ALL HAVE VIRTUALLY THE SAME LANGUAGE.....THis is a concerted effort, orchestrated by someone.....I will call Todd Rock on Monday morning and try to get an appointment with him, I want to know what he knows about this.......
The National Rifle Association, which has for the past 20 years presented itself as the nation's premier resource for defending your 2nd amendment rights, has completely missed the larger issue: that the same bill (which would perform an 'end run' around the 2nd amendment) has been proposed in SIX states (Maryland, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, Hawaii, and now Tennessee)
** YOU can add PA & AZ to that list and I am still looking!
Just another law to make honest people criminals
Already many people buy their own bullets, cases, primers and powder and make their own cartridges, simply because it is cheaper and quality can be better controlled. The cases are saved and reused over and over again. Can't you imagine that people who have criminal intent will just roll their own, so to speak, or a new underground business will arise for those who don't have their own reloading equipment, yet want unmarked cartridges. So then the honest people will have marked cartridges and the criminals won't, sort of like when criminals obtain untraceable guns outside the system today.
And finally, if economic conditions become so dire that civil conflict erupts, what the government fears most from its citizens will be happening right out in the opened anyway, so bullet registration will be meaningless. What good would bullet identification done the Union during the Civil War of 1861?
Well, they suggested it.
"Beginning january 1, 2011, a private citizen or a retail vendor
shall dispose of all noncoded AMMUNITION that is owned or held by
the citizen or vendor."
Gee, I wonder how fast that noncoded ammunition is likely to be disposed of, and where a citizen might choose to dispose of it...
I know where I want to
I know where I want to "dispose" of mine. Will call it "friendly fire."
Maybe I am paranoid
But has anyone noticed all the school shooting on tv? I mean they go on and on for weeks about it. Its almost like conditioning, anti gun conditioning. I also wonder about the NRA as well, I mean with the Veterans Disarmerment Act. I have read several articles on Diane Fienstien who introduced the bill, where she publicly stated that she thought the bill was a cake walk ( the first time they tried to get it thru ) and she had the FULL support of the NRA. Since when does the NRA give support to an anti-gun bill?
They know what they're doing...
After all they've been judges forever.

HQ knows what it's doing! Trust us! We are the experts, not you! Remember how popular the NH tv ads were! He's catching on I'm telling ya!
Gun Ban
There was a tradgic school shooting in UK a few years back. (Dunblane Massacre). They then banned all guns-even used in just Olympic Shooting practice in UK. - There has been more gun crime in the UK since and rising fast and only the criminals own them now.
Let this be a hard lesson to you in the U.S. Don't give up your right to protect yourself with firearms because the cops can't always protect you as you know. (There are good cops, obviously, who are very brave but I mean in a police state of emergency etc.probably.
'I always think of all you canvassors and precinct leaders at the front line.
Good luck out there &Thank you. It's appreciated'.-fip -U.K
BECOME OR CREATE A STATE MILITIA TO GET AROUND
THE ILLEGAL opinion of the Supreme Court, should they decide that citizens can't own firearms! The State Militias where every man from age 15(?) to 60 (not sure of exact age on this one) were required to defend their homes and the homes and property of their communities. We need to re-establish these Militias if our own government rules against the Constitution!
State Militias were broken up and brought in under the government's umbrella, now the National Guard. If the citizens of America can't defend themselves legally, what recourse do we have left? The government is incurring more hatred and division among Americans than ever before in History. THROW THE BUMS OUT! Our own Representatives in Congress refuse to represent We The People by constantly disregarding their OATH of office, they MUST be REMOVED!
We already know that McCane intends to do as HE pleases, whether the American people agree or not, he will push for the amnesty for Illegals and continue to abolish what few rights we have left as citizens of the U.S. I have NO INTENTION of becoming a "global serf" for these self-serving elite SCUM BAGS who have stolen and terrorized our nation for too long!
They Don't Fear us because we give them nothing to fear!
You folks and across the democratic society/world have no idea what it has been like living under a toltalitarian government like we have in Massachusetts. Mitt Romney Country!
We Republicans do not have an opposition party. The Democrats control everything. We only have a few and I mean a few state Reps, and I'm not sure, maybe, one or two state senators, if that!
Well anyway, I use to try and joke with a straight face, saying that we the people of Massachusetts, need a Constitutional Corrections Facility.
To house those elected members of the house and senate, appointed officials etc.
I was hoping for someone to donate land and then we could just start building the prison. If the news media were to ask we would tell them it was a prison only for the states worst criminals, our elected officials.
Well, perhaps someone here in the USA has the land, or anyone in the international community, is willing to donate the funds so we can purchase the land to build a PRISON to HOUSE ALL FEDERAL ELECTED OFFICIALS, that committed Treason, when they voted for the so called Patriot act.
Since they did away with our rights and further stated that the Federal government has the right to kidnap anyone anywhere, we do not have to arrest them, just kidnap them and bring them to the New Federal Constitutional Corrections Facility.
We should build it underground, they should never again, see the light of day!
Then again, if you have room to house a prisoner in your basement, problem solved, they don't need to be in one place.
How's that, sound good to any of you? I know, I know, I forgot to mention with cuffs and chains!
YES OF COURSE WE WANT THAT...but they'll kill us =(
*** God bless Ron Paul ***

They won't kill you
Just tell them, you have organized a fundraising party for them in some lodge. you have 100 people each donating 2,500 dollars to there campaign, can they please come. You won't be able to keep them away!
Just tell them its a fake arrest party. This is to easy! :-)
Remember Alf,
Ha, I kill Me
I am in MS
we still have one
I'll be right there...

Ya Know...
You might be right, The Supreme Court Today decided not to issue an opinion about president shrubby's illegal domestic spying program. To me, it looks like the supreme court is bought and paid for, just like the rest of the government.
Unlawful searches

Daryl, this has already happened. Four years ago, in fact. Ask any NH commuters who take the bus to Boston from Concord, Manchester and Londonderry. Ostensibly, the multiple, surprise, unlawful searches were conducted to prevent "terrorists" from smuggling explosives in their briefcases on the commuter bus into Boston around the time of the DNC.
Allegedly, the dogs were of the "explosive-sniffing" variety. But who knew what they really were all about? My usual bus was full of fellow commuters I considered good acquaintances, maybe a friend or two. We'd known each other for years. When word filtered down one morning what was going to be occurring (sporadic, surprise searches), the silence on that ride was deafening. Perhaps half of the riders resolved to not be searched, on principle.
Less than a week later, around 6:20 a.m. in the commuter lot: Surprise!
I was one of those who refused to be searched and decided to get back into my car in the commuter lot and drive into Boston. I was put under intense, offensive, unconstitutional scrutiny because of my refusal to be searched and to provide my "papers." I was technically "arrested," as I was detained and not allowed to go on my way- yet there is no arrest report. Thankfully I knew my Constitutional rights. And I wasn't alone, yet only one newspaper article (that I know of) even briefly alluded to the many commuters who refused to play the Fascist game.
Why do you think we have all these school shootings?
It's the Hegelian dialectic. Problem, reaction, solution. They are creating the problem, IMO, with mind-controlled Manchurian candidates, so they can get the public reaction, demanding stronger gun control, which is their desired solution. Never give up your firearms. If we do, we're finished.
You mean Putin, the President of Germany???
Hahahaha! McCain is such an ignorant fool!
