Things are bad for many, and will get much worse, but you won't see it in the press.

We are in the midst of the largest bank run in the history of the world, financed by the central banks as they create money out of nothing as the good doctor would say. Kind of like a silent earthquake in the middle of the ocean that will eventually wash to shore. Please note the charts in the following article:

But the stock guys, mentioned in other posts, may be on to something...obviously the system will not be allowed to fail or undergo any meaningful change. It will be just papered over by devaluing the currency, which...even without any real improvement in the financial value of a given stock...will lead to an increase in the dollar stock price as the dollar is worth less.

Investors don't trust Wall Street paper anymore. America needs a new financial bubble to feed its delusions of grandeur (or just finance its pension obligations), maybe it'll be the stock market again.

This is a great thread. The average Joe of America has no clue. I listen to Kudlow & Co on my XM in the car, and all he talks about is "This is the bottom, and it is time to buy" in regards to the stock market. Never once have I heard the "Main Stream Media" say SELL. I have never heard them say "get out of the market now". NEVER. Isn't that interesting?

In my opinion, all of the financial people on TV are paid shills!

The scary part is that if you watch TV it looks like everything is just fine. It's wonderful. The stock market is wonderful. I wonder if they are not telling us on purpose or if they are just in denial. It's hard to tell.

Trapp, I was working and did not see you had replied to my comment below... Our ability to repay IS worsening. By that I mean our economy is in danger. No economy, no repayment. We can only pay with a strong economy, and that has started unwinding in case you haven't noticed. By the way, we ARE in a recession, and have been in one since December 07. If you still don't know we are in a recession, I can see how you think things are just fine.

Where not paranoid, where just discussing

An increasing, growing number of US citizens Believe or are under the perception, that 2 of the 3 branches of our Federal Government; that being The Executive and Legislative branches respectively, have usurped the United States Constitution.

One way they did this was by Voting to pass the UnConstitutional so called Patriot Act. (The subsequent vote for and passage of the Patriot Act is an act of treason) (what do we now do with these members being so many have voted for Treason?)

(we are unable to have impeachment hearings, since a majority of the members are corrupt, they are so numb and dumb they just don't know it yet!) (other recent hints to this fact, is that the Democrat Majority, the President's opposing party. Voted to protect and to shield President Bush, from being tried by world courts for crimes against humanity)

Read up on it, as the Patriot Act, unconstitutionally, suspends the the US Constitution. If I'm not mistaken, because I have not yet read it in detail, if I'm not mistaken the supreme court basically is now a farce, yes this Once Great Court, a Monument to the free world and for Liberty everywhere is now perceived as a Kangaroo Court! It no longer rules for the people, rather only for expanding power of the executive branch!

Today, the third and last branch, that being The United States Supreme Court, refused to take and thus rule on a case regarding telephone companies that gave the federal government information on from and about private citizens regarding phone, emails, voice mails, and calls. Spying on all American Citizens.

Other information has come to this list for debate, from the Anti-Terror Branch of the FBI's Phoenix Arizona branch, that they are supposed to have been releasing pamphlets that ask citizens to report to them any citizen that talks about the US Constitution.

In a bit of Irony to the end, the citizens of the USA and not its now corrupt government, may end up asking our great friends the French who helped us during the first Revolution to help us again. Time will tell, if that call for help comes, would it fall on deaf ears, as many of our own citizens have closed theirs?

Or, will Americans in a last ditch effort, lobby for a worldwide commercial embargo to and from the United States in an effort to drive those committing Treason, and the national news organizations that support them! from power!

and what you do. It is VERY difficult to get non bias news on the tv and radio. Homeless are going into empty forclosed homes. We ARE in a recession but no one wants to admit it. People continue to go about and
seem clueless as to the problems of the country.
