Will decide on which days of those that have been submitted that a permit willo be issued. Thats what we are waiting for and then confirmation from HQ !
Now, Grannys can go on thier day and anyone else that wants to go then but I will go on the date that will be annnounced.

First about NH.. just like in Iowa the campaign ignored the obvious.. There was fraud and everything done in secret. Fred Smart and his crew did everything they could to keep it in the open and were stiffled by the HQ. Yes we raised the funds for the recount and if you have been watching it has been so full of deception that now there is an appeal going on. That was a good investment for eveyone's donations to that cause.
Now the march, we have not planned on a huge presentation, no extensive entertainment but we have planned on everything that is necessary for a good protest. The steps are available as a podium for anyone that wants to speak, we are not marching down the streets but gathering on the west lawn where the Congress and Senate will not be able to miss us..
Can you see Catholics for Paul??? We can.
Ron Paul's main platform that brought him to such popularity has been getting rid of the IRS, now what better day than April 15th?
This is not just for Ron Pauler's, but for all of us that have other concerns also such as the NAU, NAFTA, NO AMNESTY, TTC, NAIS, REAL ID etc etc etc.. and yes even the truthers will be there.
This is the time for everyone to stand up and say we won't take it any more...
Waiting for HQ? Who said we have to do that? It was only after we started the protest that they decided to start an exploratory committee, which just prolongs everything, and gives an excuse for procrastination which has been the biggest problem with the HQ people.
April will still leave 8 more primarys that we may possibly just win with a big enough showing in support for Ron. And it is before the state conventions. Later the primarys will be over and no chance of getting more delegates so the only other thing that could happen is that McCain is swift boated into oblivion then there is only the guy that talks to God on the phone. Lets not hope for a swift boat or a bolt of lightning to strike over the phone lines.
HQ does not act but only reacts to problems as they come up where they should be thinking ahead and forseeing any problems in order to prevent them.
Millions of donations have been spent, mostly wasted, we have only 16 delegates for over 20 million dollars? I am not even going into the rude and arrogant method the staff has treated hundreds of loyal supporters who have been so disgusted that the donations have showed how many were no longer giving till it hurt.
Ron said to have FUN and I intend to do just that. I do not have a master and never signed a contract that said I had to obey anyone.
For the students, they are great at sign waves and clickin on a mouse voting in polls but where was everyone when it came to getting out and voting? Polls made it look great on the internet but there should have been follow though at the voting booths. And watching the votes to assure no fraud was going on. SC had machines that didn't work, the voters had to put their ballots in boxes to be run through the machines later???? Ga had one card per machine that was rescanned after it was used. Hell yes I saw it and so did everyone else but did HQ ask for a investigation? I don't think so.. and now the students say they can't go to a protest because of school..Well folks school is not a prison and students miss class every day. People have sick days. on and on...
Being a week day is the best, on week ends who is there to see the protest? You all surely know that the congressmen and senators usually leave on Fri or even Thur to go back to their districts so what is the point of going on the week end?
Now you can all continue to say how stupid we are, how much we are looking for attention and on and on and it won't do a damned thing but continue to divide. This gives the HQ a real excuse for failure again. How many thousands of dollars will this exploratory committee cost? How long will it take? and who is on this committee?
It is time to just do something. Talking and using the excuse of waiting for HQ is a lame excuse, if you feel this is the right day then go for it if not then just don't go but there is no need to try to make me look like a uneducated fool. That my friends I am not. I may be old but not stupid.
I hope you all will do as much as you can to stop this argument and just get busy with some project that will help us all gain our country back and help us all survive what will be coming if we lose this battle..

the more dates the better. It gives people a choice as to what is a better date for them. We are all in this together come hell or hight water. Peace
April 15 march date
It appears the march Ron Paul is setting up will be June 14 or 21 - both dates I'll be traveling. So, since I live not too far away, I'll plan to be at the April 15 march.

It's going to take alot of marches to wake this country up.
Take advantage of all the good weather we can get.
In June we will have a larger event with more lead time to plan organize and mobilize.
It doesn't hurt to 'practice' and learn the lay of the land. Procedures in D.C. are very different than before 9/11... (which was an inside...fogetaboutit!) so it's good to have Granny out there with her posse.
They can do 'recon' and put the word out for the June March. It's all good.
She's gonna' "warm-up" the District for Ron Paul!

Yes, I agree we should wait on the staff. We waitied on them for vote fraud precautions, we waited on them to make sure the straw polls were counted correctly, we waited on them to work with the RNC state orgs to insure we were treated fairly, we waited on them to file a complaint with the FCC for equal air time, we waited on them for precinct training (sorry but the stuff the other night was not even 101), we waited on them to help us win states, and over and over the states have lost because of them and the state leaders will tell you that, we've waited on them for recounts, we've waited on them for supplies, signs, etc., we've waited on them for organization and on and on and on. So yeah, it sure does make sense to wait on them to set a date.
Are you people crazy? You dispairage someone who has selflessly, while she has a chronic disease, has gone all over this country, gotten us our first major TV interview (it wasn't staff), raised money for the NH recount and I can't even tell you the sacrifices she has made.
Granny has done more for this campaign than the entire staff two times over. And if you are questioning her integrity maybe it is YOU that is not one of US.
Now someone has posted that the date was "verified" to them by the campaign. Where is this information - not on the "official site"; not sent to contributors or I would have gotten it, so as usual how do volunteers know ANYTHING?
And one more thing people - WE are the OFFICIAL Campaign - those people in DC are paid staff. When are you all going to "get it"? Well obviously you haven't gotten it yet, or we wouldn't be having this conversation.
I'm going on with the R3volution with the OFFICIAL campaign, and if the paid staff ever set a date, I'll try to make that event as well. But I doubt it.

If this event is to have the desired effect, it must be huge. That means it must be planned properly, and far enough in advance and at an appropriate time so that the largest number of people will be able to attend. Thus it must be after colleges get out for the summer, and on a weekend day or holiday. Also, it is not a tax protest we are planning. It is a R3VOLution March for Ron Paul. As I said before, I will only enter the belly of the Beast when Ron Paul says to do so.

I admire the Granny and all her work; but this was Ron's idea and he should be urged to comment further on HIS plan. Granny should have probably coordinated with Ron's peope before taking the plunge.
I think many of the points made to wait until school is out and for a weekend date are valid. Many will have to plan vacations, take the kids or farm them out to relatives.
If the march goes off sucessfully (and I think it a great idea), it will have to be coordinated by Ron or whoever he puts in charge of it. However, I agree that someone at HQ needs to get off the pot about this. But the old adage still applies: "Too many cooks spoil the broth." Let's follow Ron, whatever he decides.

Everyone needs to hold the line and wait for the official word from HQ on the march. We need to make this huge and it won't work if we all pick different times. If people must march on 4/15 please still plan on the summer event too!

it seems they are undermining the official March. I will only go to DC when RP says to. Granny Warriors are great but they are out of line here, IMO. Everyone just wait for HQ to announce the date. April 15 is too soon, and it would be viewed as a tax protest rather than a Freedom or Ron Paul March. This is not good...
Its not going to undermine the
Official march all that much. By Mid March, shortly after RP finishes with the Congressional Primaries, the Campaign will set a date and begin planning. Once an official date is set, most of Granny's Warriors will "defect" to the Official march. The only reason people are joining up with the numerous renegades starting their own numerous different marches is because they're impatient, typical Americans, "I want it NOW".

They are looking for attention. Just like with the NH recount.
NH RECOUNT HAS EXPOSED MANY FLAWS IN THE MACHINE
vote counting and how they broke the chain of command, how they handled ballots, how 21 of the vote counting machines broke down during the day, and many other important discrepencies that needed to be brought out in the light! The Republican Party in each state are questionable at best, we also know what happened in Iowa!
My brother was present at both the Iowa Straw Poll and was threatened with arrest for participating in exit polls by the State's Rethug. GOP president, even though they had gotten permission the day before by the Campus Police; and he just got back from he NH recount the other day and was an eye-witness to the shennanigans in that state as well. He was one of the people who was asked to follow the van and State Trooper picking up the ballots and he told me that they were going 95 mph to try to lose him and he has VIDEO proof of this! Some boxes of ballots weren't even sealed! What are they trying to hide, their complete INCOMPETENCE?
Also, We The People have lawsuits pending in all 50 states and the courts are looking for examples of voting irregularities and counting of the votes. In SC and Virginia their STATE Constitutions BAN the counting of votes in secret, but they went ahead with them anyway as planned.
No fraud
HQ said there was no fraud in NH and they moved on. But some folks are like a bulldog with a bone and don't know when to let go. We KNEW mistakes were made. So what? Nobody has shown any fraud - meaning INTENTIONAL manipulation of the vote - in NH. All that money was essentially wasted. HQ was right and all the people screaming fraud were wrong. Granny and her supporters went off on a wild goose chase and diverted needed money and energy from the campaign.
Now, HQ is working on a decision on when to march, BUT Granny has decided when the march is going to be and is busy sewing confusion and discord in the movement. Not helpful. And, I believe, aimed more at self-aggrandizement than support of the movement. She is doing a better job of dividing the movement than any enemy of the movement.
I'll march when RP says to march, not when some self-appointed "leader" says so.
And I encourage all other true RP supporters to hold your fire and wait until RP decides when we should march. To do otherwise is to dilute the whole thing.

So the Granny Warriors and other patriot activists from around the country will march on Washington on April 15th.
YOU should feel free to march then, or to march at another time/date. But perhaps you should neither disparage nor discourage others from participating in the Granny Warrior effort/this date.
Dr. Paul and the official campaign are NOT this "movement," nor are there any salient reasons to forestall and reign in any grassroots effort.
Whether you know it or not, the homework and prep, including logistics, planning and permits are in place for April 15th. Anyone who wants to join and march....any ACTIVIST supporting a cause...on the 15th of April should do so.

I imagine that
by Mid March the campaign will have set a date. The date the campaign will set is going to be between end of May to first part of July. It takes a couple of months MINIMUM to organize a large march. Granny's march is gong to be a TOTAL failure due to lack of planning time, and more importantly, it is going to fail miseably because once the campaign announces an official date, all whom signed up with the Grannies will back out and go to the Official March.
PS-This granny thing is somewhat of a shame. Many people are going to sign up, already signed up, and will have made hotel reservations and paid in advance, as well as many buying airline tickets, paid in advance.

However, just this once, can we wait for the Campaign's date so that we are all united behind the march? Think of how this would backfire....

My husband and I have to save every dime for the day Ron calls for, but I can go to both if I can get people to ride with me. I would like to keep it an all girls trip, but will consider couples. (Sorry if any men are insulted, but that is not my intent.) I live near Boise, and can fit 5 more people comfortably, if they can pack light! If this gets any response, I will edit it and add an email to contact me.

The Granny Warriors have been about action this whole campaign and I can't believe that you would say one word negative about them. I thought this was all about the message and the mission?
When I wanted a sign, I couldn't get one from the official campaign because I didn't have a big order. Where did I get it? Yes, from the Granny Warriors and for just a donation. I could've gotten it for FREEEEEE.
So, yes, I would vote for the Grannies as the best campaigners for RON PAUL over even his own staff and I'm going to the Tax Day Rally. I won't wait around for the campaign cuz if we do, it may never happen.

I disagree. Are we to ignore Ron Paul's requests about making this a huge, grand display? How many people are we going to get to DC on a weekday when school is still in session? I live on the westcoast, and cannot feasibly make it to DC in April. Why do people think that HQ is taking too much time to pick a date? It hasn't even been 2 weeks since the call to action. Are people really this impatient? I do agree that grannywarriors are great campaigners for the RP Revolution, but if their "march" distracts and takes away from the official rally, then that wouldn't be so great.

Booked blocks of hotel rooms?
Figured out where these buses will park and where they're coming from?
Booked with bus companies to actually have available buses and a route schedule?
Arranged for stage, PA, security, first aid, etc.?
I could go on and on, but I don't see any sign of the necessary planning or preparation to really make something like this happen.
Don't get me wrong - when HQ announces the date, I will do whatever I can to help with all these issues, and will be there come hell or high water, but this doesn't seem to be a viable plan at this point. Am I missing something?

Granny Warriors March Date Bad Idea!
I am trying to get the info out that the Pope is going to be in the WhiteHouse visiting with the president on April 15th.........this may not matter to some people but I am Roman Catholic and I know for a fact that Church's all over the US are organizing trips to be in Washington on the 15th..........That is most likely to involve thousands of people walking around waving large signs.......um I hope that others see how this might be a problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why in the world would we wait for HQ to decide? The Grannywarriors are about action, not sit and wait for instructions. They already have the permits for the march and April 15th is the best date. TAX DAY! Lets get together and do this. Im willing to quit my job to be there and I will if I must. This is it.

Ron Paul himself has requested that we March on Washington, shouldn't we at least wait for him to lead us on his schedule? Also, COLLEGE KIDS, who have been a big part of this movement will be getting ready for their exams and term papers, etc. Let's ALL work together on this to make it the MOST SUCCESSFUL Historical Event. I'm sure RP has taken all of this into consideration when he asked us to come, so let's be patient and wait for him, our FEARLESS LEADER!
I agree that Granny Warriors has done a Wonderful job with all of her support and everything she's contributed; and I also understand the frustration with the official HQ on the entire campaign, but some people must remember the FINANCIAL legistics that some of us are facing as well, we NEED MORE TIME to plan, save and hopefully some of us will receive this wonderful rebate that could be used to finance our trips, what BETTER way to stimulate our economy than to use it for an event like this!?
April 15th is a bad day...
It is during the week, not a weekend, it is during school, the pope will be there, shall I go on? If we want the most of this march, we need to wait for word from headquarters, and hope that they see the importance of having the march after school lets out. Grannywarriors are about action, but this is not the best action for the march that Dr. Paul called for. A tax day protest is fine, but this should not be considered the official DC march.

By what authority does Granny Warrior decide that we are not going to wait for the RP Campaign to decide the date? This is the very thing that is going to cause the March to be a failure. We have people planning for June 21st, April 19th, April 15th, and who knows what other dates, I know there are several others. Sometimes Central planning is not required. But this march is VITAL to the National GOP Convention and the possiblility of the Campaign pulling off a Coup at the convention. It is essential that it be one MASSIVE march conducted on a single day. Such an event DEMANDS Central planning, and lots of it. Joining this march or that march is divisive to the need for this march.
Granny Warriors have recieved a lot of attention and glory throughout this campaign, and I suspect have become subconsciencly addicted to such.

Me, I've decided that since RON PAUL is the one that proposed this as a possible show of force, I'm going to wait for Headquarters to announce all the information we supporters need to know as to where, when, how, etc., etc.
