Personally I will be waving the American flag at the march. maybe a Ron Paul sign too. While this is our march and we shouldn't have to prove anything to anybody, I think we still need to play both sides and project an inviting and patriotic image... This will draw people into the r3volution!

people dressed up in revolutionary era outfits playing the drum and flute etc. and carrying the flag. doesn't get more patriotic than that.

To anyone who does not know about this as a symbol of distress, it will be seen as "anti-American". The 'Ron Paul Hates America People' will spin it to no end.

I have thought about this too. It looks like "down with the govt." I would never fly the US flag upside down. Even that flag with the peace sign looks like a flag that gives the message of "we are peaceniks who won't fight for our country." The US flag is the only flag I would fly or carry. I don't want anyone to think Ron Paul is soft on anyone who attacks us no matter where we are in the world.

I agree. While we may understand the symbolism, onlookers may not... And believe me, the MSM will just be itching for something to smear us with.
I Can't go without an American Flag
In fact, on my drive to Washington, my entire vehicle will be covered with Flags and Ron Paul signs.

We all should be displaying the Flag
The flag represents this great nation that we have fought for liberty and freedom with blood. It is also noted that it is displayed in times of crisis or emergency as a distress call when hung upside down. Can you think of a better time to display the flag in this fashion. I can't I will be displaying the flag as the military does when in a distress call. We are America Lets once again as freedom loving respectful human beings and March for our kids and grandkids lets make history. Can you feel the chills? This is gonna be huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My brother died for it... others in my family still have the scars, the metal.. etc. It's well worth displaying, after all... we are currently trying to preserve its meaning.
