Global Warming ~ The Ice Is BACK ! And bigger than "normal"..ICE AGE?

This is a great article from Newsmax. I shows what I and many scientist have been saying. GW is a natural peak in cycles and we are Now Entering into a ICE AGE..

Are the world's ice caps melting because of climate change, or are the reports just a lot of scare mongering by the advocates of the global warming theory?

Scare mongering appears to be the case, according to reports from the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that reveal that almost all the allegedly “lost” ice has come back. A NOAA report shows that ice levels which had shrunk from 5 million square miles in January 2007 to just 1.5 million square miles in October, are almost back to their original levels.

Moreover, a Feb. 18 report in the London Daily Express showed that there is nearly a third more ice in Antarctica than usual, challenging the global warming crusaders and buttressing arguments of skeptics who deny that the world is undergoing global warming.

The Daily express recalls the photograph of polar bears clinging on to a melting iceberg which has been widely hailed as proof of the need to fight climate change and has been used by former Vice President Al Gore during his "Inconvenient Truth" lectures about mankind’s alleged impact on the global climate.

Gore fails to mention that the photograph was taken in the month of August when melting is normal. Or that the polar bear population has soared in recent years.

As winter roars in across the Northern Hemisphere, Mother Nature seems to have joined the ranks of the skeptics.

alot of people don't understand global warming

Fortune Favors the Bold

Global warming will ultimately lead to northern areas getting COLDER, and southern areas getting WARMER. This is because the runoff from the melting ice sheets will cool and slow the warming currents in the northern oceans. If the current that warms Europe stops, it will enter into a deep freeze. And yes, Ron Paul would better be suited to put a stop to global warming. By allowing real competition from alternative energy and no longer subsidizing the big oil companies, as well as removing restrictions to liabilities that current polluters enjoy, we will see the market open up for real change and energy independence.
The EPA is a corrupt institution. The big guys can buy their way out, while they use the agency to enforce regulations against their smaller competitors. Former New Jersey Governor Christie Whitman, who has been the head of the agency for awhile (I'm not sure if she still is), is a CFR member and completely in bed with big oil and the military industrial complex.

Greece and China just had blizzards, didn't they?

Here in Chicago it was already the 4th most snow in 25 years *before* the major snowstorms for the last two weeks.

Apples and oranges, as well: Weather used to be measured close to Lake Michigan before it was moved to the O'Hare Airport area - definitely impacts "records" being set, both summer and winter.

I believe I have read that scientific measurements have also changed assumptions.

Kind of like states constantly lowering their education standards for "passing" for No Child Left Behind reporting-

Regarding the weather, my own hypothesis is that the seasons are one full month later than 30 years ago. We used to have snow on Halloween, now it's well into December.

We used to have summer Junes, but the competitive swimmers who start outdoor workouts in early June will be the first to tell you how frigid June is for workouts and swim meets now.

Over 30 years, I would love to know 1) whether our path around the sun has changed, 2) whether the rotation of the earth in relation to that solar path has changed, and/or 3) whether the "tilt" of the earth has changed at all.

Wasn't the MSM (the Times?) warning us of the coming ice age just 20 years or so ago?

Do humans impact the environment? Absolutely.

However, I would be more inclined to listen to the "experts", if the "solutions" to global warming weren't so blatantly part of the New World Order.

In my casual research, I believe that there are many scientists who have been coerced into not speaking out against the theory. Just more evidence of "control from above".

Have you read that the "new" lightbulbs may release mercury into the air in homes and can't/*shouldn't* be thrown away with regular garbage? Minor details-

Weren't children's shoes that "flashed" due to mercury taken off the market due to environmental *concerns*?

Dr. Paul' policies would fix global warming

It frustrates me when libertarians go to such pains to deny global warming. I believe the scientists on global warming, AND I believe that Dr. Paul's policies would fix it.

Green technology would take off like a rocket when oil prices rise as oil companies are forced to pay their R&D and security costs after they lose R&D subsidies along with the free security services that the US military currently provides for oil companies in the Middle East. No need to subsidize green technology, and no need to buck mainstream scientific opinion.

Put simply: Free market green technology would solve global warming when Dr. Paul ends the corporate-welfare/warfare state.

You mean Manbearpig isn't real?

What a great episode.

Fight the good fight Patriots!!

you have to read the rest of the article people...

it's more of a mild version of "The Day After Tomorrow"

well, hopefully mild ; )

I can't wait for the YouTube

I can't wait for the YouTube video of a man in a black suit walking up to Al Gore's door, knocking on it and saying "Mr Gore, Nobel wants the prize back".

They're too late --- he

They're too late --- he already sold it, to fund additional trips to his local Krispy Kream. Talk about a "carbon footprint" --- his own must be sinking in pretty deeply lately!

Hope for the best, expect the worst

You can't spew billions of metric tons of CO2 into the air and not expect there might be changes. The old saw that this is a natural cycle and that this is how it was a bajillion years ago and that the earth is jes' fine is simply a shallow way to look at it. The earth will be fine no matter what. That does not mean that the organisms on it will be alright. So I say, in the face of conflicting evidence, that, as a species, we may want to err on the side of working towards not burning so much oil. There is a great episode of NOVA that explains the delicate nature of climate change. A theory that I happen to believe in, is that global warming caused by burning gasoline is offset by the global cooling caused by particulates from burning diesel. Currently, they are in a delicate balance, but that balance can easily be tipped. Strong, strong science has shown humans _can_ impact their environments. Why would this be any different?

Don't buy into it

A few years ago it was global warming and the ice caps are melting. So what if they did? Ever melted ice in a glass?
Next it was a new ice age, then back to global warming, oh there's a hole in the ozone (NOT).

Notice they can't decide what to call it and are constantly coming up with new termonology for the (nonexistant) problem? We must reduce carbon emissions! It's actually proven that plants would do better if the levels were raised! They "breathe in carbon" and would actually lose less moisture.

It's just UN globalism tactics. Save the planet! Even if you die in the process. Don't you just love their sustainable human settlements and all the UN programs designed to save the earth?

GW B

Global Warming bull. In the space industry which I am closely aligned with it is well understood that the polar magnetic compass points are shifting to full flip and this is what is happening. Why is there sand in the desserts? = It used to be a sea bed. Why is there oil beneath? = carbonised dead life. Why do we find sea creature fossils on land? = Yup.
These are natural cycles and as the polarity shifts so the relationship to the moon alters in line with other planetary systems and gyrations and so you get the axis of the earth changing in tilt to the sun. It's happening fast and new manouverable satellites are using magnetism to change course instead of rocket thrusters.
It is therefore true but not caused by mankind. Or women.
P.S. It snowed in Greece a few days ago.

'I always think of all you canvassors and precinct leaders at the front line.
Good luck out there &Thank you. It's appreciated'.-fip -U.K

Do you think the Polar Shift will happen circa 2012

The sun lost polarity recently and the solar cycle seems to have inverted ~ a long period sunspot minimum.

Many scientist predict a solar "lightening" strike to the earth at polarity shift. What are you thoughts. If this is so, we should be less worried about this election, the NAU, and more about our survival as a species.

Whoah

would you care to pull that train of thought our a little further? What exactly does that mean? a polarity shift?

Yep

Just a cycle.. ty for the well-thought post btw.. we can call it debunked and goto the next one.. ;)

cycles

Both the weather and the economy run in cycles..Global warming is Al Gore's Scam..he's simply making hay over a natural event
