Guess who came to vote....
Texas early voting started today. Our local meetup has 6 of the 10 polling places to cover in our county, spreading the message for Dr. Paul. Some of our group started early at 8am and hoped for some reliefs to show up sometime throughout the day. I had planned on doing this at the local college here (voting location), so went by the congressional campaign office to pickup some slim jims and other handout material. I found no-one campaigning at the college when I arrived about 3:30 so I proceeded to hand out material, not only to the early voters, but to the students there as well, asking if they knew Dr. Paul. Some even responded that he had delivered them at birth. Most of the responce I got was positive with just a few voters seemingly avoiding me and the hand outs. Before long a US Senate car pulled up to the polling place and out came Dr. Paul and his wife Carol, on their way to vote. He looked well, and was pleased I think, that I was there representing him. No other candidates in any of the elections had anyone there to campaign for them. I reminded Dr. paul that he was on the ballot twice (for his congressional seat and his presidential bid) which he joked that he hadn't quite made up his mind yet. As he was inside the polling place I continued asking the passers by if they knew Dr. Paul. Some yes, some no, but told each that they would have the chance to personally meet him as he exitted the polling location. Most all stayed to wait for him and Carol. One women said she hadn't met him before but was embarrassed to do so. I explained that he would be thrilled to meet her and she called her sister in Ca. to tell her about the chance encounter. Her sister had doubts about this but that was all settled when Mrs Paul offered to take the picture of her with Ron, for her.

There is no choice, Dr. Paul!

What a kidder! There is no choice, Dr. Paul!
"We don't have to start a brand new revolution...All we have to do is restore the original Constitution." -Ron Paul
I think what he was joking about was
Whether he liked Ron Paul for President more than Ron Paul for Congress.
That's so awesome! Thanks

I love these stories!!!
LOL
"I reminded Dr. paul that he was on the ballot twice..."
WOW!
That would make you want to give a little skip on the way home!
Exciting! To be found "on the job" by the man himself! Way to go!!!
Made my day...
After the polls closed at 5pm, myself and some others from our group gathered to call canvas for votes and DELEGATES. We have been pretty successful at this approach. Even those that said that they didn't have the time to be a delegate, we asked that they attend the precinct caucus meeting to vote for the delegates (representing Ron) in their precinct. We are not free if we aren't willing to defend Liberty, Patriot4Paul.
this seems to work...
