Please Help Dennis Kucinich

The corporate elites have brought out the big guns and tons of money in an attempt to unseat him. He is a very tough battle to hold onto his seat in Congress.
I do not agree with him on gun control or universal health care and I'm sure most of you don't either. However, I strongly agree with him on his opposition to invading Iraq and his fight to protect our civil liberties. Like Ron Paul, he wants to get rid of NAFTA and CAFTA and get the U S out of the WTO.
Dennis chairs the House subcommittee on Domestic Policy. He has met with 9/11 first responders who are now suffering from serious respiratory conditions and have been unable to get any help. One man he met with died a couple of weeks after the meeting. He also plans to investigate the hugh increase in PUT options on United and American Airlines just prior to the attack.
We need to keep Dennis in Congress. If you live in Ohio please support him. He is one of the very few in Congress willing to stand up for We The People. Even if you can't afford to contribute you can help by canvassing for him or volunteering to help his staff. He doesn't have anywhere near the number of staffers he needs.

I know some of you don't support him, but there is certainly no reason to attack him. I would love to see Ron Paul republicans versus Kucinich democrats.
That would be a real choice. While we fight the neocons we need people on the other side of the aisle fighting the third way/neo-liberals.
This is about way more then partisan politics. It's about restoring integrity and accountability to public office.
Let's face it. Our goverment has been hijacked by criminals, and we need all the help we can get to force them out.

Dennis may be brave. He may be patriotic. He may be against the war and the "establishment." He may be Ron Paul's friend. I like him, he's a good guy.
But Dennis in a socialist and his ideas are directly opposed to the ideas of the Ron Paul Revolution. I will write to him and offer him personal encouragement, but I cannot support his ideas because they would make the government even bigger than it is. Please try and understand this before you want us to endorse him. Study his ideas and put them side by side with Ron Paul's. There is no overall agreement. Stop asking libertarian Constitutionalists to support Socialists. We can like them, but we cannot support them or we negate everything we are trying to do.

Don't forget Ron Paul calls Dennis Kucinich a friend I'm sure if the good Dr. can see past any differences they might have on social programs so can we. We need as many people fighting against tyranny in congress as possible.

He is both anti-war and anti-establishment. Though he is not anti-establishment in all the same ways that Ron Paul is, anyone fighting the establishment deserves to be considered more of an ally than an adversary. Dr. Paul has very positive things to say about him.

"Gun rights" won't do you much good if Bush succeeds in throwing away the REST of the Constitution. Dennis Kucinich was once mayor of Cleveland. He probably has plenty of local contacts useful to the Ron Paul campaign. Let's have a little principled "quid pro quo".

Barbara Ann Ferris worked for the UN and most of her interest areas are cradle to grave...Joe's primary interest is to get Federal Money into Ohio...and "entice immigrants" to move there. Dennis is aware of the major challenges ....neither Barbara or Joe would support reducing government. Dennis stepped out there pretty far in several areas...we need more of that. Plus, like bradzepfan said....he knows media bias.

I guess many posters have forgotten DK co-sponsored legislation with Dr. Paul, and that DK has voted with Dr. Paul on issues, and that DK had openly stated his pick for a running mate would be Ron Paul (check you tube), and that he went to court in Texas to fight to be on the ballot after "refusing" to sign the loyalty pledge to the Democratic Party and to support a war mongering candidate.
I suppose you have also never read any of Dr. Paul's compliments regarding Dennis Kucinich. Dennis may not be a Libertarian or a Republican, but he is a person of principle like Dr. Paul.
If Dr. Paul would support the ugly and uninformed comments here, I would be very surprised. The fact that special interests have targeted DK should tell you all you need to know.

You are way off base
Granted, Kucinich's position on guns is less than desirable, but here is a guy who voted against wars and funding in Iraq and Afghanistan, against NAFTA and WTO, voted against the Patriot Act and Protect America Act, and is one of the only people in Congress who is trying to impeach Cheney/Bush and re investigate 9/11. And, he is not a CFR candidate. Kucinich is mostly good, and most of the congressmen and senators are mostly evil.

Kucinich believes that MY property, MY means of self-defense, MY life belongs to the government to do with as it will. He believes in a command economy. Is he LESS evil than some politicians? Sure. But I don't waste my time trying to parse out which politician is incrementally less evil than the other.
Picking and choosing which freedoms you like and which you don't like is STILL tyranny. Picking and choosing which parts of the Constitution you like and which you don't like is STILL unconstitutional.
ANYONE who wants to take my rights, and my children's rights, is my ENEMY!!!!!!! The means Kucinich is my ENEMY. I don't care how hot his wife is or how much he hates the war. I hope he goes down in flames.

I would rather not support someone who could not be farther from the Constitution than Dennis. Just because he is against some trade agreements (for totally different reasons than Ron Paul), doesn't make him worthy of our support. Many democrat socialist aren't for free trade agreements, but it is because they are against free trade. Ron Paul is against these agreements because in actuality they are not about free trade, and they destroy our sovereignty. The sooner people like Kucinich are gone the better.
Did he endorse Ron Paul?
I don't remember him saying anything to support RP.
I think I'll spend my time and money on this candidate instead.
