Power of PowerPoint

Let's go over this one more time. To illustrate, we have a team of 4 volunteers to put up sides on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The team spends four hours and puts up 28 signs along a moderately busy thoroughfare. Approximately 1,000 a day will see these nice "touchy-feely" Ron Paul signs. However, the number of new people seeing the signs every day averages about 100 people. So, at the end of 10 days, approximately 2,000 have seen these signs.
Cost: $100 for signs and expenses.

The same 4 volunteers spend 4 hours creating a PowerPoint presentation on the illegality of the Federal Reserve or who owns virtually all the mainstream media, including talk radio. One volunteer uploads the presentation to a headquarters website, and 1,000 national Ron Paul supporters download the presentation and attach it to emails to 10 friends. Lets say out of every 10 friends, because of overlaps or disinterest, only 6 friends view the presentation. Lets also say that, even though it's a kickass presentation, only 2 of these friends forward the presentation to others.

Lets look at the math progress over 10 days.

DAY RECIPIENTS
1 10,000
2 20,000
3 40,000
4 80,000
5 160,000
6 320,000
7 640,000
8 1,380,000
9 2,760,000
10 5,520,000

Same 4 volunteers, same 4 hours. Cost: NOTHING..
EFFECT: You tell me.

Your Logic is unassailable

However, Joe six-pack (maybe 1/2 of all voters) doesn't GET email.
And he has NEVER heard of RP.

RP already OWNS the internet.

If the election were held online, RP would ROMP.

So we split the offline vote with Hills, Obama, McCrazy, and Huck, who get ALL the media.

We get 7 - 10%.

Sucks.

Nonsense

With the exception of some senior citizens, EVERYBODY gets email.
Read the stats; well over 50% of the country is online everyday.
When you say, "Ron Paul already OWNS the Internet," you're missing the point. Right now people have to web search for Ron Paul, someone the MSM has either ignored or attempted to discredit. I'm talking about entertaining, but informative presentations on subjects of interests. Ron Paul's name would appear only at the end of the presentation, and would not be that conspicuous.

First sell people on the position, then tell them that only one major candidates supports their position, Ron Paul.

one other thing

is that the enemies of freedom have had ample time to create videos, blogs, etc; against RP. So when someone does a search on RP, not only do they get the good results, but they get the bad too (made up stuff, lies. etc). I told a friend of mine to "Google Ron Paul" and the first video that popped up was the one with the Kirkicch guy talking about the racism newletters. Needless to say, my friend is an African American and he is also Jewish. He trusts me, so he accepted my explanation; thankfully.

You may want to consider handing prospects a flier (or via email) with your favorite RP videos on youtube, plus direct them to watch freedom to fascism, and a few other videos; INSTEAD of telling them to "Google Ron Paul'. With that said, I do like the powerpoint ideal. But I also like making copies of Freedom to fascism and handing it out, along with slimjims when I canvass.

Consequently, for those who have had their primaries and caucuses, you should still be out canvassing. The latest reports show the democrats came out and out-voted Republicans by 8-10 million. What this tells me is that there are millions of Republicans who are still suffering from apathy; which is something that we can help heal with the messages of Ron Paul.

So please, continue to canvass, continue to work the net, continue to do all the things as you did when you were working elbows to big toes.

Why? When RP wins the GOP nomination, he could lose the Presidential election if not enough Republicans come out to vote.

Well, thats my two cents worth anyway.

Bring it

Yea...I have a few hundred emails myself. I'll be spamming away!

Spamming is Self Defeating

If I get a clever, entertaining PowerPoint presentation, and I send it to 10 friends, I don't call that spamming. I don't think most people would either.

Put me in the list of who owns mainstream media

I own a block of Newscorp.

Oh Really, Are You on the Board?

Tell me, whose on Newscorp's board of directors? Who owns your biggest blocks of stock? Betcha either they or members of their immediate family either own big blocks of some other parent company or are on their board.

Not on the board

Just a stockholder, and a small one at that.

Didn't Mean to Sound Nasty

Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

Rush Limbaugh works for EIB (His Firm)
EIB owned by Premiere Radio
Premiere Radio owned by Clear Channel Communications

Clear Channel Investors
http://www.clearchannel.com/Investors/Sect_16.aspx
Clear Chanel owns or operates 51 stations, virtually all major networks

associated with Brainerd Communicators, Inc
Check out client list.

I don't know about you, but when I work for someone, I pretty much have to do their bidding. Rush Limbaugh works for ALL these people,. Rush's audience doesn't cut his check, and his painkiller scandal could have finished him if the "powers that be" had wanted to do so.

I once complained to the editor in chief of THE WASHINGTON TIMES for whitewashing the differences between a liberal Democrat House member running a tight race or reelection with his conservative Republican challenger. You know what I was told? "It's business."

sounds good

put the presentation together....

i have over 200,000 email addresses and no shame about spamming

I've Already Sent a Sample To DaddyWarBucks

I sent a short, unvarnished sample to DaddyWarBucks, hoping he could cobble together something using more creative people with more resources than myself. I'll be happy to send you the sample, however, once I write-protect it. I'll think you'll find spamming it won't be necessary; In fact, I hope you'll feel proud of sending something like it (though more polished) to your addresses. My email is rfallin@comcast.net. Email me there and I'll send you the sample.
