The Republicans are already in serious trouble as the spectre of a 50 state sweep by the Democrats is starting to make the rounds in the media thanks to the disastrous annointing of John McCain by the RNC. When the likes of Hannity and Rush openly exchange nasty barbs with Lawrence Eagleburger about what an awful choice McCain is for the GOP you know it's bad and getting worse by the day for the Republicans. This is also why Ron and Mike Huckabee should be in it for the long haul all the way to St. Paul, the huge conservative base is fired up and if they can get this thing to a brokered convention McCain will be pap smeared.

If Republican neocons are not intent on handing a poisoned chalice to the Dems, there could be a strong chance for a brokered convention.
Does anybody know if a brokered convention must only be between McCain, Paul and Huckabee? Could the neocons still have their real candidate hiding in the wings?

.....and by the time Hillary and/or Obama are done with their term in office the uninformed masses will be baaaagging for a republican.
Remembering back to the mid 90's it seemed as if the democrats were in the same boat.
I am hoping and praying more people will catch on to this fun game we play with dems and repubs.
They get what they vote for...
Whether its Obama (most likely), Hillary (next most likely) or McCain (most likely Republican, but least likely President), the American people will get what they deserve.

This is all the more reason to become a precinct leader and
a state delegate.
Since Huckabee is so adept at stealing Dr. Paul's ideas, you can bet that, like Dr. Paul, he has formulated a plan for a brokered convention.
Everyone should make a commitment to spend less time on the computer, and more time canvassing their neighborhood.

..the newspapers on-line. I could easily say that americans will get the president 'they' deserve as I'm in the UK. The point is the choice will effect the globe. I can't and perhaps others' can't do the important job of precinct leader for various reasons. I left a nice comment earlier today on the 'Times on-line' section talking about McCain and the womenising story. :- Every little helps as they say!

I'm hoping there is still time for the more esoteric media pundits to latch on to candidates' voting records and requisit skills. Ron Paul is your gift horse and you're too dumbed down to see it. God help us all, even outside the U.S.A.
