It is all over the news, some talk of two seperate quakes. Is it odd that there were also large quakes in Norway, Indonesia, the Cali-Mexi border and here all in the past 24 hours? I am not a quake watcher, so I really don't know. I figured it would be a volcano that gets me here! ;)
Update: Reports of collapsed buildings in Wells, NV just coming in.
Update 2: Too funny - one newscaster giving the offical "No reports of damage" story, the other one taking calls from locals with relatives in Wells telling of collapsed buildings, city advised to shut of natural gas and propane lines, etc. "City in crisis mode." It will be interesting to see what the final story is.
Now reporting a 4.0 in Ogden Utah 20 minutes later, and a 2.0 a few minutes later. "It is nothing to be alarmed about." Really, I do feel better now. The bimbo promised me she has things under control!
First injury report: Antlers fell off the wall and poked a man's puppy in the head. Puppy is at the vet, everydbody wish the puppy well!
I always check the USGS web site for information on recent earthquakes around the world. This seems to be one of the first sources for information about recent earthquakes as they appear almost in real time.

Am I on drugs? It's 9:51 AM EST, and the article says the earthquake happened at 7:16 AM PST. Isn't it currently 6:51 AM PST?
They probably don't know that Nevada is not PST
Just a guess, but they probably quoted the local time in Nevada, which is MST. No prescience, just stupid. No shortage of that in the media!
