Ron Paul Peeps INVADE a Bill Clinton appearance!

Again - if you guys comment - that would be great :)
My Meetup organized a sign wave at the Clinton appearance and it really was a great success.
I am the person in the above article that had some lady yell.
I was walking by a curb and got to the very end of the group of people and held up my sign. A lady beside me literally growled, "if you don't get that sign away from me - I will do it for you."
I was surprised at how hateful she was at a much smaller person than her and a sign? (It WAS a 2'x4' sign........heh.)
Anyway - I told her that I was sorry if I offended her and walked off. She called me a female dog and that was that. I was REALLY restraining myself....
But before the rally - we all reminded the people there with us to not cause ANY scene. We knew the media wanted some kind of negativity for their coverage and we didn't want to give it to them.
Anyway, later on during the speech - I was holding a smaller sign (18x24 my arm was killing me from holding the big one against the wind). A man behind me had been whispering things to me and I kept trying to inch away from him. Typical insecure man...
I guess he was upset I didn't flat out leave and he finally pulled my sign down pretty hard. Mind you - this man was about a foot and a half taller than me. I just grabbed my sign and told him to stop touching me and my property.
He laughed and said, "oh you are one of those?"
Seriously? I still don't know what he was talking about...
I moved away some more - but at this point there was no moving at all. I was in the thick of the crowd.
When Clinton stopped talking and people were rushing to get a handshake, the man took his opportunity and just flat out pushed me in the middle of my back.
I turned and he was snickering. It didn't hurt, but it was a cheap move. I just walked away because I felt arguing about it or finding a police officer would only prove to be long and a waste of my time. I could tell this man would deny, deny, deny.
There were people yelling that we were disrepectful and such, bubt other than that - we had more people ask us about Ron and why we were voting for him.
The positives really did outweigh the negatives.
So - I just wanted to share our invasion of a Bill Clinton appearance. We were alll around the venue at different spots, so he literally had to stare at a Ron Paul sign the entire speech - no matter where he looked.
It was GREAT.
The funny part was there were THREE Hillary signs (in the supposed 6k people - it was more like 2k). There were probably 10 or so Obama signs and nearly 10 "Abortion Kills Children" signs.
There were uncountable "I miss you Bill" tshirts and bumper stickers. Tons of people were yelling - we miss you! When Clinton touched on voting for a woman, a lot of people yelled.
What a sad day it is when people are voting for someone based on their gender and who they are married to.

Bill Clinton
When I was voting in the NH primary Bill Clinton visited our polling place. He was outside shaking hands and had attracted a long line of people waitng to meet him. Behind him was a woman holding a Hillary sign. He and the sign holder were outside the fenced area designated for people holding campaign signs. After I finished voting, I went to my car and got my Ron Paul sign and held it behind Clinton's head. At that point I was informed that I had stand inside the fenced area. I asked if Hillary supporters got special dispensation to stand outside the fenced area. I said if she can stand there then so can I. I was told it was only for the photo-op so I backed off. Meanwhile the secret service guys looked a little freaked out so I moved into the fenced area. I'm sure there are some nice photos of Bill with Ron Paul in the background.
I dont understand how things
I dont understand how things like this happen...
Why are certain people allowed to blatantly break the rules, etc. and nothing is done?
Can't you file something against then with the FEC?
Your person and personal sign was
your personal property. Ron Paul talks about this all the time. Sounds to me like you were assaulted. They have NOTHING going for them. Imagine Hillary saying she will freeze interest rates for 5 years - tell Bernanke that!
THANK YOU!!!!!!
I went & commented :) Excellent job! Thank you so much!
Good For You!!! Hats off! And to the dirty old man "Hands Off!"
*** God bless Ron Paul ***

I'm sorry to hear you were assaulted.
One of these days that coward who assaulted you will attempt that with someone less inclined to tolerate it than you were and they will reap the reward they deserve for doing so.
I don't realy believe in
I don't realy believe in Karma - but I believe what you said... heh..
Thanks for telling us
Interesting. I don't march for physical reasons, so it is always interesting to hear what happens with people doing what I wish I was doing. But better you than me because I am not sure I would have been as patient as you were. Way to go.
This is no differenct than
Blacks voting for Blacks or Asians voting for Asians or Muslims voting for Muslims or Chrisitans voting for Christians or gays voting for gays, etc. People are voting with their prejudices and emotions, not their minds. The Left is a diseased bunch, falsely led into believing that either a Black man or a woman can deliver them from the Hell they created. We need someone to lead us who is sane, rational, logical and moral. Ron Paul is the only candidate with these asttributes.
Nicely Done - Good Patience
I know it is hard to keep patient and nonviolent. My meetup group did a Clinton event and an Obama event. The Clinton event was full of yelling (not the Paul supporters for the most part) and lots of intimidation. One man even had a sharpie and crossed out a large peace sign on a poster and told us to "read our Bible", whatever that meant. The Obama event was calmer, but many insults about us being "racists" and "against immigrant rights". Strange how the Revolutionaries are the peaceful ones.
exactly. That is what I kept
exactly.
That is what I kept saying...
Great job!
Great job!!
But I resemble your "deny, deny, deny" remark.... get it?... resemble....
LOL
Keep up the great work!!
