Birgs of a feather do flock together. Can McCain's campaign be in any more trouble? My guess is yes. What a nightmare this guy is. Didn't his mom teach him to stay away from trouble? Apparently not. I can only imagine this is the beginning of the end and there will be more to come out of all of this.
Thank god the democrats also control a good portion of media. If it were not for someone smoking McCain out, Ron Paul would have a longer road to travel.
It's bad to be happy at someone else's misery, but this is a HUGE wake up call to the GOP. Let Ron Paul have a voice and he will CRUSH Obama.

I love how they don't even mention Ron Paul. He's not facing federal charges either, for the record. The old media doesn't know whether to $hit or go blind right now over McCain. Listening to McCain speak reminded me of a guy who is lying about cheating on his wife. He could barely look into the cameras. His campaign is finished, and we will see the results in Texas and Ohio on March 4th.

Just one more "present" from the neocons to the
conservative elements in the GOP and the rest of the population. In any future debates containing McCain, he will probably need to have his legal team sitting close by so that they can advise him as to when he needs to "take the 5th" in responding to this or that question. McCain is a disaster for the GOP and the U.S. and the media is just eating it up like candy.

Unless you just figure that this whole thing is to get a Dem in, it really makes no sense for the GOP to go this route. There is SO MUCH more stuff out there on McCain that has not really been brought up that if he does win the nomination it's going to be a media bloodbath. They'll have so much dirty laundery brought up in general election that not only will he not be elected, he's going to have to arrange for an unmarked grave so it won't be routinely violated..lol

Bush has really destroyed the Republican coalition acting more like a democrat on spending and then his disastrous war policies. They may also realize how the economy may hit the skids for awhile, so might as well let the dems get the blame (even though the set-up for the economic mess might have occurred during GWB, voters remember who was in power when it happens).
So, perhaps McCain is simply a sacrificial lamb like Bob Dole was. In that election, it was obvious Dole was going to be a weak candidate, but the party apparatus favored him, sort of an honorary nomination for his years in the party.
I was told in 2004 Hillary would be President
this time round by hook or by crook (emphasis on the latter no doubt) by someone who generally pegs these things pretty well. That may well be the plan but there's still time for the Nation to awaken to Dr Paul's message. Obama will be the next one swift-boated. There's no doubt some juicy tidbits there as well.

I would LOVE to see a debate between RON PAUL and Hillary Clinton!!!! Can you imagine??? He would have her in a tizzy tripping over her tongue! WHAT A SHOW THAT WOULD BE, but that is EXACTLY what the "Establishment" FEARS THE MOST! They don't want the Sheeple to wake up and find out about Ron Paul, but it's becoming more and more difficult for them to ignore the GROWING support he has! DESPITE all of their dirty tricks!

I've had a feeling for a
I've had a feeling for a long time that this country is being lead down some primrose path that unless we are on the inside, can't figure out. Why would the Republicans work so hard against Ron Paul, when he clearly would appeal across the isle to both parties. Why bring up all this dirt on McCain before his has a clear win for the nomination, unless someone wants to make more money by prolonging the final nominee and take it to a brokered convention? Then you have to ask yourself "who would benifit?"
Huckabee would benefit!
I have a very strong suspicion that his bosses are behind the NY Times story. Toward the end of the coverage on TV this morning, the report included comments from Huckabee denouncing the article and stating how much admiration and respect he had for McCain. It struck me that this is exactly what one might be expected to do to preemptively deflect suspicion before any accusations could be made against him.
Remember:
1) Huckabee is on the same payroll as the Clintons - namely Wal-Mart and Tyson Foods. He proved this with his Mexican consulate that he set up in Little Rock specifically to attract cheap illegal immigrant labor into Arkansas for the large corporate interests there. He is also coincidentally using exactly the same campaign template as Bill Clinton did in 1992.
2) Several weeks ago, it was rumored that McCain had made a deal with Huckabee that if he would help him get the Republican nomination (which included taking as many votes away from Ron Paul as possible), that he would select him as his VP running-mate. I am convinced that this is why Huckabee was always praising and sucking up to McCain at every opportunity.
3) A few days ago, insiders in the McCain campaign were quoted as saying that Huckabee would not be offered the VP slot. I suspect that Huckabee and his owners were not very happy when they heard this.

Edited: Ok... in two days we have a (non)sex scandal that is opening the doors for a lobbyist scandal, he flip-flopped on torture yesterday, that'll get traction over the weekend, the FEC is messing with him and his campaign people are getting tossed into the slammer as they go.
Sounds like life is heating up for him.. ;)

The GOP is throwing this one to Hillary and let McInsane be thrown to the wolves! They KNOW he can't win againt Hillary or Obama, he's their sacraficial lamb this election, it's all decided ahead of time who the winner will be because the CFR backs them ALL, except for ONE LONE true AMERICAN HONORABLE STATESMAN who is the ONLY ELECTABLE candidate among them all! President Ron Paul sounds SO GREAT! I would regain that American Pride I used to feel before Bush destroyed our standing in the world.
Ron Paul said in one of his recent messages to his supporters that the Convention isn't until September and a lot can happen between now and then! Like maybe our economy crashes, and people begin to realize that Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who can possibly help our country! If the GOP wanted to win, they would still ignore Dr. Paul because he's not "a member of their club" and he just doesn't fit in well with the criminals!
