I just saw this post on RonPaul Forum and thought it was interesting....I have copied it verbatim below:
"Remember that billionaire thread a while back that got so much attention? From what I've gathered from bits and pieces of what I consider reliable sources, a wealthy businessman's representatives met with campaign HQ staff in Houston a while back, and said that some Senior HQ staff should be replaced. If they were, this billionaire would financially support the grassroots effort.
Dr. Paul said no.
I can't help but think Dr. Paul smelled a rat, and that this was an attempt to plant someone in his staff who would sabotage the campaign. I always felt bad that Dr. Paul refused the offer, but now I'm thinking that he's smarter than the average bear. This is all just speculation on my part".
