Little bit of progress in Texas

I am making progress in Texas. Working fast and hard. I am calling my entire district. I put slimjims and a sticker on everyone's door in my whole precinct. I put up yard signs all over the area and around the early polling places. When I call, people now know who he is because they have my slimjim and before I put out the slimjims, they more often did not. I have run into a few that want to talk and think about Ron Paul but thought that he did not have a single, little chance. I tell them how he does. It makes me less anxious to be working on it. I read and stay up with everything as much as possible so I don't sound so uninformed and I have not found a single person who is more informed than I. I always know what they are expressing. It makes me nervous, but I know it is so important, so I leave my comfort zone and just do it. I email my sounding board anything I find that would help them understand.
After I finish calling my precinct, I am going to call restaurants and hairdressers and tell them about the "no tax on tips." They love that and it gets them talking.
If the magic is gone from this site, I guess it all came over to me. It seems the less other people want to do, the more I want to do. I will not quit as long as Dr. Paul is in front of me. Look what is now happening to McCain and Obama, and look what is happening with the TTC. We have the best person. This race has been very unusual and I think there is still some unusual stuff coming down the pike and I am going to keep doing my part so that I will like the surprises to come.

My husband is in Austin today and was in Temple on Thursday and Friday. He said that the Paul signs are EVERY WHERE!! And were not just little signs, he said they where HUGE! He loved it.
I called him and left word on his voice mail that there was a rally there today. He called back and said that his schedule would not allow him to make it, but that his supporters out there have done a fantastic job.

On the weekends, i might run into 8-10 statesiders. They get a slimjim and a one-on-one.

Also in Texas
Spent this evening stuffing ANOTHER 200 door-hanger bags with RP stuff along with anti-TTC stuff; even included a copy of RP-proposed legislation that will stop all federal funding for the TTC.
Will put out those 200 bags tomorrow.....And another 200 the day after, and 200 more the day after that, and on and on. When we've hit as many as possible in my precinct, we'll start on the precinct next door....Until we run out of supplies or run out of time. I've got 2,000 bags and less than 2 weeks until the primary.
No rest here. I'm in it to win it. I am determined to deliver my precinct for RP. I have gathered enough commitments from friends, family, and neighbors to ensure that we run our Pct Convention. Gonna get a full slate of RP delegates to the County Convention and get ALL of our resolutions passed at the Pct level. Will it make any difference?.....Who knows'/who cares?. I don't quit.
In case anyone is wondering.....McCain is actually kind of helping us here since we're picking up lots of ANTI-McCain votes. hehehe

For the very first time in my life I can cast a vote that I really want to count. Never before have I felt so right about my choice. I'll forever be grateful to Dr. Paul for giving me that.

I have been on bedrest for the last 4 weeks. I made many, many phone calls before the WA caucus and primary. It seems as though I am swimming in a sea of Democrats and bad phone numbers. But...a few folks from my meetup helped me (with the aid of my walker) to canvass. That made all the difference at my caucus. We won my precinct and now have 2 delegates and 1 alternate.
The work you have done is wonderful and inspiring. What I have found is that there is no substitute for talking face to face with people. Please do as much as you can and make it personal for each indicidual you come in contact with.

My husband and i live in oxford mississippi (Old Miss territory) a college town! My husband and i have joined a ron paul meetup 35 members, I cant seem to get them fired up yet!! We became precinct leaders,we went to the court house to get a pree election ballot YES Dr Paul is on the ballot yea! We got the name and number of the local precinct official and asked if they needed any Help. My husband an i dont have very much money but we bought some slimjims and ronpaul stickers and a few bumperstickers, Oh and my car is the only ron paulmobile around, Shoepolish and bumperstickers everywhere. There are NO! signs any where for any other candidates, My husband and i made a 12ft by 12ft GOOGLE RON PAUL banner and put it on a bizzy hiway, we'v called Jackson Ms for Ron Paul signs 3 weeks ago and emailed them many times. Were not done yet! I just hope we can get people fired up! Our primary is March 11th Pray for us.
