I have read this before. There is some speculation
that this was one of the issues that drove McCain out of the 2000 campaign. If I remember correctly, the whole affair wound up putting quite a bit of wealth into his wife's pocketbook. I'd have to research it in order to find the exact circumstances of her involvement though. As a result of his involvement, the indians refer to him as Saddam McCain.

we've attempted to. They're at the point that they distrust anyone white, pretty much. Speaking to some of them as a Native American, they're pretty happy that, as they see it, the white man will go up in flames pretty soon anyways... so why prolong it?

The implecations here run pretty deep too. Kerry, Clintons, Rockefellers. I've opted to not target Clinton so much and mostly concentrate on McCain. If we can this out and McWar cracks, it should take Clinton down with him.
I think this is at least in part why McCain and HRC have stated in the past that if they were the nominees it would a "sweetheart" race. Certainly neither can use this against the other. Neither of them wants this to come out. They can't implicate the other without implicating themselves.
