Please help! I'm Confused. How many Congressmen/woman does each state have?

From my googling, it looks like each state has only two Senators, but alot of Congress people.

I am trying to find the right Congress People for my state (NC) so I can contact them and ask them to vote down FISA.

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Make sure you let him/her

Make sure you let him/her know that the immunity provisions are a red herring--the Supreme court wouldn't hear the ACLU case on the grounds that they couldn't prove that any American was spied on. They can't prove that, because the administration won't supply records.

So--if no one can prove they were spied on, litigation will be pointless, thus making the immunity provisions unnecessary.

They have all the authority the need to spy on FOREIGN calls in the FISA as it stands.

Ok Thanks!

My congressman is:

Ron Paul for President 2008

Ron Paul for President 2008

So

Dr. Paul is the Texas Congressman for the 14th district - each district has a representative based on the population?

That would make sense, because that's where I got confused seeing so many for NC.

Just to confirm for you.

Just to confirm for you. Each state has 2 senators, and that's it. Each state determines its number of Representatives based on the population, thus the only legit reason for the census every 10 years.

To find your rep

Go here: https://forms.house.gov/wyr/welcome.shtml

(You don't really need your 4-digit zip code extension.)

It's based on population
