Help put a dent in McCain's campaign (and help Ron Paul) with 'Stop McCain in Ohio' .
TODAY is the deadline to get the phones lined up to try and stop McCain in Ohio.
Funds are needed TODAY. If you are able to substantially help out contact me directly by email jureneck@comcast.net or phone 617 436-0320. We are far from our goal of the $15,000 to pay for two rounds of calls.
Eighty-eight delegates are at stake. Ohio can tip the balance in either direction and denting McCain's campaign in that state will help Ron Paul continue on to the September convention.
Don't let Ohio be the the end of the campaign!
Automated, pre-recorded telephone messages to targeted Ohio Republican voters, especially those who voted in the 2004 presidential primary in NW Ohio. This area is heavily Republican and was pivotal in helping George Bush win the election in 2004.
Two rounds of telephone calls (database validation and calls), the first on March 1 and the second on March 3, will cost about $15,000 to reach 280,000 voters between the ages of 35 and 65. No live volunteers involvement as all 280,000 calls are sent out in a 2 hour time period. The message is strictly anti-McCain.
There are 88 delegates at stake in Ohio. A loss of any dimension to McCain in Ohio, a bell weather state, will help Ron Paul.

Go to https://forms.house.gov/w... This will bring up a form to use to contact your Congressman. Paste this in the message window and ask what he can do to help us. That is what I did today.

WHEREAS, 8 USC 1403(a) applies to John McCain at age 16.
WHEREAS, John McCain is a naturalized citizen.
WHEREAS, the Canal Zone was not part of the United States.
WHEREAS, John McCain was not born in the United States.
WHEREAS, John McCain is a citizen not born in the United States.
WHEREAS, John McCain is not a natural born citizen.
WHEREAS, Article II of the Constitution states to be President a person must be a natural born citizen.
WHEREAS, John McCain is not eligible to be President of the United States under Article II of the Constitution.

The battle is going on in Ohio and Texas...march 4 th is a big day and I do not see any events for Ron.
Why are we not making a run in Ohio?? We can't sit around and wait for the MArch this summer...have we conceded?

I agree with the pope. I am also from Toledo and many people I know are voting democrat that have no idea what any of the candidates posititons on the issues are, or even what the meaning of sound money and freedom is.
But I will say there are many that do support the constitution in particular our 2nd amendment rights.

Anti-McCain? Not Pro-Ron Paul?
What is the point if 95% of the anti-McCain vote is going to his future running mate, Huckabee? Nobody likes McCain (even the people voting for him!) so why waste our time bashing him? I could even see supporting an Anti-Huckabee campaign since he is the one who is taking votes from Ron Paul. Lets push Ron Paul and his message, not waste our time and money bashing our heads against a brick wall.

...will be split. To many Republicans Huckabee is as bad as McCain on immigration issues. There is no reason to think that those who dislike McCain on immigration will go to Huckabee. Quite the opposite
You are correct that no one likes McCain once they see where he stands on many issues...but many voters do not know or memories are short.
Taking McCain down at least a peg or two is good news for Paul.

you sure this is a good idea have a ron paul group do this?
Its one thing to support groups like the vietnam vets against mccain as an american group supporting TV ads for the same function with the same type of ad for the same money.
But for a Ron Paul group to do this directly could cause a lot of blow back.
Also are you legally able to do this as a non-candidate PAC or are you a single candidate pac?

I was told they have the 1st of three short ads(different styles being completed this week)
They need people to quickly donate funds to air them in Texas and Ohio.
They do have the proper legal structure and are very, very ready for the battle with mccain that i would guess on all levels you are not.

I haven't seen the ads you are referring to but think that strategy is also worth supporting.
Ohio voters are strongly against (87% on certain issues) the type of immigration proposals that McCain has put forward. A poor showing in Ohio by McCain would help the remaining candidates.
Unlimited *independent* expenditures are legal. This means no coordination with the official campaign whatsoever. There is none in this instance.
Ohio is one week away....support every effort you can.
