I used to be a Nader fan till I found about how he ran his campaign a few years ago. A revealing look. Worth reading for those who have friends who might consider him.

I've never been a fan of Nader
His numbers in the last election were like 0.3 percent of the national vote or something like that.
I think the effort he went to to get information out to consumers in previous years was laudable, but I've never really been a fan of his "the government should protect the people" attitude.
Regulation is never a good thing.
Everybody listen up,
Everybody listen up, especially the third party component of our movement: Nader's just in it to mess it up for RP.... he's part of the "crusade" against RP.... just ignore him... Eyes forward...to the goal... Dr. President Paul!!
Focus On Paul
Direct your energies toward forwarding Dr. Paul. If the final offerings in November are, say, OhBomb-a, InSane, and Nader, cast your vote for Ron Paul. I'm doing that, if it means I need to write it in with a fat, red Magic Marker.

Incidentally, would it be "Dr. President Paul" or "President Dr. Paul" or would the "Dr." just fall out of the title or ??? Just curious. Personally, I don't mind which way it goes, as long as "President" is in there ;)
I knew what he was all about
when his book " Unsafe At Any Speed" came out. The lady test driver gave glowing reviews of the Chevy Corvair years ago but that's not what he wrote. He personally saw to it that this terrific car was taken off the market. A liar is a liar always.

Nader will split the Dem vote
as he has done in the past. The Dems blamed him for their loss two elections ago. I say yeah, Nader. We need more Liberals to run and dilute the Dem voter base. Nader would not have entered the race if he didn't feel there was enough division to do so. I doubt anyone here will vote Green.

IDK... Nader.... I think he thinks RP's not going to be the nominee and that he can posibley canibalize RP support. But no RP supporter will vote for anybody but RP. A vast majority of RPs base has been proclaiming write-in. Which until a better plan makes itself known that's what I intend to do.
I also don't think he can split Oba-votes as they are increasingly becoming more cult like.
Nor, is he going to steal away any of the "it's about time for a women" votes.
Out of those two i'd say the Obacult is the biggest threat overall. I think it's in our favor if HRC secures the nomination. I think that's the only recipe for splitting the Dem vote.
What i'm wondering is do I smear him now or do i promote him in comparison to Bama and HRC?

I'd seriously consider voting for Nader if Paul is not on the ballot because Nader is as against the war as Paul is. I'd vote for Nader sooner than I'd vote for the Democratic or Republican nominee (unless it is Paul).

Why would you vote for Nader who is a Socialist Liberal and represents everything that Dr. Paul is against? If Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination, write him in or vote for whonever he throws his support behind. With that vote you have a chance for reform the Republican Party. The Green Party will never embrace Dr. Paul's ideals.

Anyone stop to think that Nader is running to draw away Ron Paul supporters who fervently want him to run 3rd party?
If not, then he will draw away Democrat votes in hopes of electing McCain. Either way, Nader = bad unless Ron Paul is the GOP nominee.
