2003 Gen Franks - disregard the constitution in WMD attack

Gen. Tommy Franks says that if the United States is hit with a weapon of mass destruction that inflicts large casualties, the Constitution will likely be discarded in favor of a military form of government.
Of course, the stage is now set if the un thinkable were to occur

General Franks will quickly learn the reason the 2nd ammendment was placed into the constitution. So assholes like him can't unilaterally declare it null and void. And to think he swore an oath to defend it! Even if people were ready to jettison the constitution, It would be his and every other officers job to defend it until it could be rightly ammended.
